Job Description: The Warehouse Operations Lead has general responsibility to assist in coordinating and supervising all warehouse activities on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, this position is responsible for directing work assignments in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives. Don't wait! Pay Range: $23.00 - $23.00 per hour Shift: Second Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Work closely with shift leadership to accomplish shift goals -Oversees and coordinates warehouse processes such as receiving, put away, picking, and loading of products. -Directs work assignments to employees -Provide daily hands-on support in Material Handling and Forklift responsibilities -Drives compliance with safety, quality, and productivity goals in support of warehouse leadership team objectives -Brainstorms and suggests new ideas on how to improve processes to supervisor -Communicates professionally, both orally and written, to internal and external partners -Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management; assists in finding solutions to problem areas. -Ensures efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment -Trains new and current employees on operational SOPs and Wis -Ensures the warehouse is clean and orderly; including but not limited to organizing and rotating inventory, maintaining product labels, sweeping warehouse, and assist in staging orders for delivery -Ensure product is stored safely and in the proper place. -Assists in maintaining the security of the warehouse -Additional duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor or manager.
