    Job Description Project Engineer - ARB, Inc. Multiple Project Engineer positions with ARB, Inc. in various locations throughout CA and other western states. Responsibilities Serve as the construction site liaison with engineers, customers, constructors, subcontractors, and vendors at kick-off meetings, project reviews, and other project stakeholder engagements. Coordinate all civil or mechanical design and engineering-related inquiries in a timely manner to meet project objectives and milestones. Prepare Request for Information sheets describing technical inquiries in civil or mechanical engineering raised by craft personnel with the engineer of record. Utilize Bluebeam and 3D model software to support field installation. Maintain ongoing communication with project stakeholders and ensure that project deliverables meet customer needs and contractual requirements. Enable timely delivery of all project submittals compliant with the contract documents. Facilitate constructability discussions between superintendents and the engineer of record . Manage the document control system per company standards and train all team members. Oversee the tasks of Field Engineers and Document Control staff. Support the Project Manager in change management and estimating with scope definitions, quantity take offs and cost calculations Education and Experience Master's degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field, or its foreign equivalent, plus two (2) years relevant experience in industrial construction projects Requirements Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes including document control systems Experience in coordinating construction projects Proficiency in interpreting and analyzing construction plans, specifications, and applicable codes and standards Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency in Bluebeam Proficiency in reading and reviewing Primavera P6 Valid driver's license is required Compensation/Benefits Salary range of $130-145k USD annually, commensurate with education, skills and experience Paid Company Holidays Paid PTO Medical, Dental, Vision, FSA/HSA, Short Term/Long Term Disability, 401K with matching contribution *Relocation may be required.     Project Engineer (Construction - Concrete Subcontractor) Job Type: Full-time Pay Range (Annualized): $60,000 - $90,000 per year. About the Role We are a concrete subcontractor seeking a Project Engineer to support our Project Management team based in our Rancho Cordova office. This role helps keep projects organized, documented, and moving-supporting communication, implementing document controls, evaluating change order requests and submittals of shop drawings, reviewing project schedules, etc. This position is ideal for someone looking to build or continue a career in construction management. What You'll Do Develop a full understanding of the scope and interdependence of all contract documents. Handle and submit Daily job reports, RFI's, and submittals. Manage effective document control mechanisms for the project to ensure that work is performed in accordance with contract documents. Evaluate change order requests including design changes, specifications and drawing releases and reports status. Evaluate submittals of shop drawings, material data and samples and take appropriate action based upon contract specifications. Review the project schedule and assist the project manager in the maintenance of it as requested. Assist the project manager in the maintenance of effective cost control mechanisms for the project. Complete project close out requirements in accordance with contract documents. Administer quality control program as outlined in the project procedures manual. Become familiar with safety requirements of the project and monitors compliance. Utilize safe work practices and follow directives, policies, and procedures for assisting and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment. Responsibilities Support the overall Field Technology services across the Tampa business unit and designated projects Support existing conditions and as-built surveys for upcoming and current projects throughout the region. Support and/or perform initial surveying & field layout activities with robotic total stations to support field validation, quality control, and quality assurance. Perform construction building layout with robotic total stations to support field validation, quality control, and quality assurance. Plan and execute field survey activities in accordance with standards set by the project team. Plan and perform layout set out and back-check tasks. Leverage appropriate set up procedures using a robotic total station including known backsight and multi-point resections. Perform benchmark transfers using an auto level. Proficient with allocating and scheduling job duties to others. Ensure all equipment and materials are organized and equipment firmware is up to date. Support/Perform sUAS and 360 photo/video capture and post processing activities. Assist with reality capture services utilizing terrestrial laser scanning and sUAS/photogrammetry tools to capture, process, and document existing and as-built conditions of interior and exterior spaces. Support project teams and VDC engineers on the utilization and analysis of reality capture deliverables (point clouds, meshes, 360 photos, etc.). Basic Qualifications We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented individual that will relish performing in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with ability to multi-task, produce quality deliverables, and meet project-based deadlines. The successful candidate will have: Ability to work in an environment that requires transparency, team collaboration, leading by influencing, and socialization of initiatives.
