Duties and Responsibilities
Drive residents to/from community events as assigned.
Assists residents into/out of vehicle and into/out of the facility serving the resident.
Records resident attendance and uses established guidelines to assure all residents taken off campus are returned.
Assures that vehicles have an adequate supply of gasoline at all times. Reports vehicle problem/malfunctions to Wellness Arts Coordinator or maintenance.
Represents the Wellness Arts Department in all interactions with residents. Offers encouragement and support while providing transportation services and reports resident needs or concerns to the Wellness Arts Coordinator and the nursing staff.
Performs any other duties/tasks that are assigned on an as needed basis by the Wellness Arts Coordinator.
Typical Physical Demands
Ability to bend, squat, raise arms above the shoulders and lift 40 lbs.
Ability to push/pull 180 to 200 lbs.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of a 24 hour daily operation

LPN/RN Duties and Responsibilities
Directs, instructs, teaches, coaches, corrects and disciplines as appropriate the RAs and Medical Unit Secretaries in order to develop an effective team and assure the quality of work performed.
Verifies identity of residents receiving medications, mixes or assembles drugs, administers drugs to resident, observes ingestion and records n MAR.
Documents effectiveness of PRN drug on MAR.
Maintains up-to-date medical records of care given. Documents reasons for which prescribed drugs are not administered, i.e. resident away from building, etc.
Assists with assessment of resident needs.
Assists with admissions, discharges and transfers as necessary.
Collects and communicates information on resident conditions.
Assures accountability for controlled drugs.
Reports supply needs to appropriate personnel.

Security - Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log of arrivals and departures of commercial and private vehicles
* Will patrol the campus by vehicle and on foot to observe the comings and goings of vehicles and individuals.

CNA Duties and Responsibilities
Assists the nursing staff in providing care to geriatric patients using knowledge of and techniques for dealing with problems associated with aging.
Assists residents with personal grooming and dressing.
Assists residents with use of toilet and/or bedpan.
Transports residents to and from meals, activities and other areas as needed.
Responds promptly to resident call bells or requests from residents and any emergencies within one (1) minute.
Provides non-skilled treatments such as measurement of vital signs, turning and positioning, transfers, recording of bowel and bladder function, care for the incontinent, including skin care, range of motion exercises, assistance with walking, testing of urine, recording of in-take and out-put, application and release of protective restraints, weighing and measuring, administration of non-medicated enemas and vaginal irrigations, collections of voided urine specimens and stool specimens, and post-mortem care of the body.
Assists residents with the dining experience.
