1. We don't have employee of the month, sorry to disappoint you. I was a bit as well when I heard, and also I was a bit upset when there was no such thing as the Fry Cook Games. 2. I've got many crazy stories. One of the most memorable was this one band or something that came into the restaurant. I had only been there for a week and a half and they showed up completely unannounced in not one, but TWO, packed school busses. Only one had arrived at the time, so our manager said "Sure! We've got room for you!" and they neglected to say there was another bus. We had at least 5 orders going on 15 minutes long and I was the source of it because I had no idea what I was doing at the time. It was also a barebones crew at the time because a co-worker for that night was rushed to the hospital with terrible kidney stones and they were supposed to help me. The manager was in the back making sandwiches, drive through attendant doing fry station plus drive through, and it was all me alone up front. Luckily, everyone was pretty understanding of my "noobiness" and they didn't get angry at the long wait times. I have a few more crazy stories I'd love to share, but I have a feeling if Arby's reads them, they'll get angry at me. 3. Oh yes. Its not work without hating at least one of your co-workers. One of which is a manager who ALWAYS ALWAYS keeps me an hour later then when I am supposed to get off, making sure that I do their job for them and that the lobby is absolutely sparkling. Thing is, they are moving up to an assistant manager at a new restaurant... because this manager apparently is SO great at what they do. Another person I do not like is this one guy, who acts all buddy-buddy and never does what they are told to do, leaving me to do everything for them. And they get off squeaky clean. That seems to be all for now, lol. Sorry for the wall of text!
Dead on bud. But sadly there are times when groups or individuals for that matter, take a story and run with it. I don't know why they chose to reveal this whole ordeal to the media and I don't want to play the blame game. However, as an employee, I believe that the female is to some degree at fault for the situation. It is the responsibility to report an incident ASAP; if you're missing a piece of a digit or limb, you better be telling whoever takes over your backline what happened. All she had to say was "Cut my finger off on the slicer blade." Maybe 3 seconds tops? That would've said everything. Slicer could've been shut down for a thorough cleaning and there never would've been a problem. But alas, its done and you can't change it. TL;DR - People love sensationalizing. This whole thing should never have happened, and I pin it to the original employee.
The shake mix does come in boxes now, but inside the box there are 2 awkwardly sized bags of Shake mix. I have tried a cup of the shake mix and I gotta say, it was pretty good. I'll take your word and not eat too much of it. By being employed I automatically get 50% anything that's not a coupon. But if a cooler manager is there, they will usually let you get a sandwich if you do a good job or work a long shift. Managers always eat for free though. I'll have to start trying different stuff like that, I usually just get a roast beef lol.
Great pay, many benefits, move up quickly. Flexible schedule.
On your feet 24/7, only 30 minute break, i work at the one at a truck stop so you have to be aware of the people around you.
Heart points that you accumulate over the time being there and you can buy nice things with them.
Theyre always on top of things, everything is so organized and planned.
Hire more bilingual, maybe offer a raise for those who speek multiple languages.
Arby's interview was one of the hardest ones ive done. Definitely be patient, be yourself, be overly positive about the job. Cuztomers are always first and correct. Arby's is big on BLAST (believe, listen, apologize, solve, thank). They love bubbly people able to engage guests.
I make $14.30 and ive recieved one raise since ive been there. I think the pay is great compared to many places around. Especially fast food.
They hire pretty much anyone that fits the role, never judge very respectful.
The people i work with are great but so are the customers. There are regulars that come in and enjoy seeing me.
Worst order, hmm. We have lots of bad orders, but one time during a Sunday dinner and during a promotion where all sliders were only $1, a man ordered 45 sliders of all kinds; corned beef, ham, chicken, roast beef, etc. This forced us to shut down ordering for a good 10 minutes. The line was literally out the door and we did not catch back up until nearly a whole hour passed when it started to slow down. Weirdest customer would be one guy who, and I do not joke, did this; asked for a triple chocolate cookie, a junior vanilla shake, a roast beef classic minus the bun, and a bowl. The normal thing that any sane person would do is put the cookie and shake in a bowl and eat that, but NOPE. This guy put ALL his food into the one bowl; the 3 ounces of roast beef, the cookie, and the shake, and ATE IT, but not before adding Arby's and Bronco Berry sauce to the mix. How could that have been good?
you get half off on meals
you start at 12$ an hour

In Great Bend Kansas I worked at Arby's for about a year, a few months later the most amazing woman I had ever had the privilege to work with, I was 40 if that says anything about her, Shirley Schwartz retired from being the GM. Lunch ran like clock work, she was not little scary in the best way and we always worked and had fun too!! I never went back to see an old boss before either! Now, it sucks there.
Pay sucks!!!!
Part time, no benefits. Discount on food but who eats where they work everyday so not much here.
No idea who the CEO is.
We only knew about our store and our employees
I never prepare but I was hired on the spot because Shirley knew amazing people, just like me.
McDonald's $14 start Freddy's $14+ Convenience Store $11-$14 Dillons $10.50 Walmart $15 Arby's $7.25 You tell me.

Talking to the people who’s orders I take and being able to hear so many people’s stories and how they live their lives.
There aren’t really any ways to keep improving and it’s a very stagnant job once you learn all the positions you don’t really have anything left to do.
I get to work with a very fun group of people who are all very different from one another.
Everything is terrible
Discounts
Absolutely nothing that is positive at this establishment no matter what
There are no pros at all what do ever and there never ever will be
Everything is going to be bad in the future and we are not gonna have any time for it anymore and I will never forget it I promise you that you will hate Arby’s
Nothing
We are a family. We love and respect each other
The GM socks. He's a nice guy but has no idea how to run a restaurant
I had the coolest GM in the world laid back easy going my type of person but was still a boss at the end of the day and got the job done
The team I worked with.
I didn’t really feel they cared to much about their employees.
We did not have any perks/benefits.
The customers are good
The employees would have mood swings sometimes and start yelling if we were in rush hour.
Don't have one
It was easy
They dont care about their workers
Free drinks and half off food
All the lifetime friends I made
Bad people no one cares about you
Making friends
Some of the people I work with. Work kitchen in the back by myself
Just getting tired of it. Worked there for 4years and the drama
No benefits
My coworkers they’re so sweet and being cosmetology can be hard because they are so awesome with my schedule especially when I have clients and I come a little bit late but there so welcoming and helpful I really appreciate them all💜
Umm I guess if could have my days off when I don’t have school would be awesome because I’m always working and going to school and I never have time to relax and just get some rest
Being able to have an awesome communication with my boss and being such a great person and working with my schedule especially when I get backed with clients at school and he’s still keep my same hrs and doesn’t cut any days off💜
Everyone was all about working together to serve customers with a smile.
Nothing
The employee discount.
The people there
The management was poor about teaching and training new employees
1/2 off food
Manager's were amazing, really nice, made work understandable for me when starting out/gave me hands on experience, and engaged with other employees while working.
The people who came through our drive thru were very rude.
$6 employee discount, because it provided me with food to eat when I didnt have any at home.
Getting to know my customers and making them happy so they come back to see us
Making good money and knowing I am appreciated
Fast pass, you need to be capable of doing everything to do well
Same tasks day after day can get boring
Free food
Fairly easy and move up through ranks quickly
Had to be persistent with management about wanting a promotion.
Free/discounted food
I loved the fast paced environment and the people I worked with, and being able to have a flexible schedule!
I worked a lot of hours
Being able to have a flexible schedule for my family
Being able to create a bond with costumers in the community.
I disliked the way the managers talked down on other employees including myself.
Good place to work, lots of learning opportunities, flexible schedules
The pay
Medical insurance
Steady hours and good customers
Bad magement And lousy teamwork
Health benefits
Flexible hours
Lack of workers
My favorite thing would be providing service with a smile, it was encouraging when customers complimented my work.
The quickness
The management
The freedom of it. Like being able to go as fast as I want
Does that mean that you're starting this job with no work ethic? "Not clocking in all of my hours"?

Hah, probably this one girl. We were about to close and serving a customer at the drive through; order was 100% right, but they acted like we were missing four junior roast beef sandwiches. They got nasty with me and started cursing at me, and I just walked off and found the manager at that time, who is sadly no longer working at Arby's. He went up to her and she started yelling and cursing at him over 4 sandwiches. This went on for 10 minutes before he just gave up and gave her the sandwiches to get her to leave. She was spewing out words like that she was gonna "get us someday for this" as she left. The manager and I basically exchanged glances and went along with our closing. Was funny except for when I felt like she was gonna jump over the counter and start attacking me.
I enjoy it quite a bit! Co-workers and managers are friendly and we have lots of regular customers. I do admit, Sunday lunch can stink at times, but the rest of the week makes it worth it.
Never had that once happen. I have offered a turnover to a customer and he told me "Sure, you can turn me over."

I make minimum wage ($7.25) I am 16 years old. The oldest person was my favorite manager and one of the coolest people i ever met who was 60. Now I believe its our cleaning guy who is 50 something who has been here for over 17 years.
For me personally I love when customers are easy going, polite and make small talk, it makes me feel appreciated, it's customers like this that I will often upgrade their fry size for free.
- Not that I know of, and I would hope not :P - I usually work the drive-thru taking orders and handing people their food. But that changes from time to time, one day I'm working front counter and the next, I'm doing cleaning duties. - Honestly, the rar
New sandwiches, new wrappers/boxing/cups, new procedures, new uniforms, and we are changing "Slicing up freshness" to "Inspiring smiles through delicious experiences". I'm a bit upset with it because I feel a lot if it is too forced. For example, when the customers ring the "good service" bell, everyone on duty is required to yell "Delicious!" It sounds so cheesy. On the other hand, I do like the minimalist look of the cups/fry boxes and bags.
