Role accountabilities:
* Assist in the design and execution of civil infrastructure and site development projects for public and private sector clients.
* Support project teams in preparing and completing construction documents and related deliverables.
* Perform civil engineering design tasks, including:
* Site and roadway layout
* Site grading and drainage
* Utility sizing and layout
* Stormwater management design, including retention/detention facilities
* Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective coordination and problem-solving throughout the project lifecycle.
* Work with municipalities to obtain permits and ensure compliance with local regulations and standards
Qualifications & Experience:
* 5 or more years working on civil development projects for the private and/or public sector
* Detailed knowledge of relevant national/state standards and codes of practice
* Professional Engineer (PE) Certification

Responsibilities will include:

Role accountabilities:

Additional duties include:

Project Manager leading all facets of project, to include; budgeting, planning, cost estimating, design and execution of SCADA and instrumentation & control systems.

Utilize technical experience and expertise in the execution of I&C and SCADA projects from inception to successful startup and turnover.
Program process control logic in PLCs and configure graphical HMI for SCADA system on a variety of platforms. Configure historical data collection, archiving and generating reports on a variety of platforms. Produce effective and accurate written specifications for implementing I&C and SCADA projects.
Mentor junior engineers and designers.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering or a closely related field of study
7+ years of I&C, Automation, and SCADA system design and implementation experience in water/wastewater market.
Professional Engineer license or the ability to obtain license within 12 months.
Key Skills and Attributes:
Basic knowledge of Autocad and Revit. Ability to self-direct and work on multiple assignments at once while meeting project deliverable dates and completing other task-driven assignments
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, as well as excellent teamwork skills. Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project, and Outlook)

* Work directly with a variety of engineering disciplines, office / project staff, client and sub-contractors, throughout the project life cycle, and have clear and concise, oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, conduct effective client presentations and prepare written reports.
* Exercise judgment on details of work and in making preliminary selections and adaptations of engineering alternatives.
* Manage the production of engineering and construction drawings, specifications, bid packages, and cost estimates for projects.
* Will function as an Engineer of Record, Task Manager or Project Engineer on projects to manage related budgets and schedules, lead deliverables, and leads with the development and management of plans, permit checklists, scopes of work and will facilitate coordination for timely completion and submission of projects.
* Mentor entry-level and junior structural engineering staff.
* Some travel may be required for project site visits, client meetings, safety audits, general planning purposes or to oversee construction activities, depending on project staffing needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience including supervision of elements of large, complex projects
* Bachelor's degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
* Professional Engineer (PE) License
* Functional knowledge and experience with AutoCAD/REVIT software.
* Strong structural analysis and design skills (including structural software such as Staad Pro, Risa, etc.)
* Excellent working knowledge of all building codes and standards such as IBC, ACI, AISC, etc.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $155,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
