Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
Responsible for monthly financial reporting statements, including: Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, Sales and Gross Margin, Forecasts, Inventory, Variance Detail, Capital Investment, Productivity, etc.
Manage local Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, and Cycle Counting functions.
Responsible for CostAccounting, rate development, inventory valuation, and system monitoring.
Direct preparation of Division budget and rolling mid-term plan.
Develop and assure adherence to Division policies and procedures.
Direct preparation of schedules and information provided to internal and external auditors.
Analyze, review and submit capital projects for approval.
Develop staff personnel to assume added responsibility in support of division growth objectives.
Assist managers in improving operations through analysis of costs and procedures. Assist other departments in developing, evaluating, reporting and monitoring performance.
Advise management on desirable operational adjustments, based on analysis of results and forecasts.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Corporate Controller, General Manager, or Top Management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Accounting from four-year college or university; and seven to ten years of related experience and/or training. Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume automotive manufacturing company and/or public accounting preferred.
CPA preferred.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts, such as complex ratios, variables, rates, and proportions to practical situations.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of data in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
This job requires high-level ability to use spreadsheets, the ERP system (QAD), reporting tools, and other hardware and software to generate and communicate information.
The job requires approximately 10% travel

Senior Manager, Revenue Accounting to join our Accounting team and help scale, enhance, and streamline our revenue operations. This role will be a key leader in driving compliance with ASC 606, overseeing and improving the revenue close process, and partnering cross‑functionally to support the company's continued growth. Responsibilities
Revenue Recognition Oversight: Lead revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and company policy.

What You'll Do
This position leads the Financial Controllership & Accounting function for the Global Digital Business Unit (“Digital BU”). The primary purpose of the role is to ensure accurate and timely accounting and reporting for the Digital BU. This role will partner with the Accounting Centers of Excellence (COEs) and Company's outsourced finance partner (TCS), guaranteeing the quality and effectiveness of accounting practices. Additionally, this role works with the Global Business Services (GBS) group as it relates to billing, cash applications and collections. This role will support the strategic direction, vision and organizational model for the accounting function and will drive transformational changes to deliver world class accounting and reporting processes, policies and procedures. Additionally, drive appropriate internal controls for this business unit working with internal audit and the commercial, operational and functional groups.
Key Accountabilities
Partner with key stakeholders in the Digital BU including finance, engineering, product, commercial and operational teams to support business strategy and execution. Collaborate cross-functionally with DBU teams and the Accounting COEs to drive accounting conclusions and monitor their implementation.
Revenue recognition: monitor new revenue arrangements and partner with the Revenue Accounting COE team to conclude on accounting treatment. Ensure that revenue is recorded accurately and in accordance with these conclusions.
Internal use software development costs: collaborate with the DBU engineering and product teams to understand the digital product roadmap. Partner with the Fixed Asset Accounting COE team to ensure proper tracking and cost allocation for eligible projects in accordance with ASC 350-40. Lead regular reviews of capitalized software development costs for all projects.
Provide key financial data, trends and analysis to the leadership team and global Iron Mountain finance team.
Support Global External Reporting and Controllership team for US GAAP audit purposes.
Collaborate with and support the Digital BU CFO to ensure ongoing risk-based monitoring, design, and implementation of effective internal controls.
Accountable for ensuring compliance with Iron Mountain group accounting policies, US GAAP and SOX; actively participate in the design, update and training of the Global Accounting policies.
Ensure finance systems optimization and continuous improvement. Proactively contribute to the development and implementation of the Finance Systems strategy within the framework of the Iron Mountain global financial systems strategy.
Provide support to investigate and resolve accounting issues including the escalations of issues on the Quarterly Issues Meeting (QIM) and Disclosure protocols.
Accounting support of M&A activities, due diligence and post-acquisition integration projects relating to financial reporting aspects, lead the set-up of reporting for newly acquired entities and joint ventures.
Drive and support the effective operation of accounting shared services. Identify any issues and manage resolution. Provide support in any additional transition to the outsourcing companies, or system implementation
Continuous review of month end close and reporting processes for improvement. Support changes in corporate requirements and implementation of new accounting standards working with the Global External Reporting Controllership team and Accounting COE group.
Ad hoc financial, operational and end-to-end process improvement projects as agreed with the VP, Global Group Controller and the SVP, Chief Accounting Officer (revenue cycle; procurement cycle - opex and capex)
Build and maintain collaborative relationships with business and finance stakeholders locally and at the corporate level including external stakeholders.
Effectively partner and communicate with the FP&A and Finance Business Partner roles in order to drive greater understanding of the accounting impacts of business decisions and provide more effective proactive advice to the business and these Finance groups, as well as, provide more early warning of potential, planned or future transactions and/or events that may have an impact on our financial reporting.

THE ROLE:
This Senior Manager role is a high-visibility position within AMD's Finance organization located in Austin, TX.This role is critical to the success of the business and reports directly to Senior Director, Compute & Enterprise AI Business Unit Finance. The role will be supporting the Enterprise AI and HPC group. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

About the Role
We're seeking an exceptional Technical Accounting and SEC Reporting Manager to join our Accounting & Finance team. This role will be a significant contributor to the vision and overall success of the accounting department.
What You'll Do
Prepare technical accounting analysis related to new transactions and new or evolving products. Work closely with our external auditors through technical accounting matters and bring any accounting analysis to closure in a timely manner.
Partner with other members of the accounting team to implement new accounting standards, changes in accounting policies or to operationalize the accounting for new or modified products.
Respond to technical accounting inquiries from external and internal parties and explain technical accounting matters and concepts to all levels within the organization.
Maintain the Company's accounting policies which includes adoption of new accounting standards and updating the Company's accounting policies as disclosed in its financial statements.
Assist with the SEC reporting process, which includes drafting and reviewing portions of Forms 10-Q and 10-K.
Assist with the preparation and review of the financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
Ensure the internal controls related to accounting policies and financial reporting are designed, implemented and operating effectively for SOX compliance.

About the Role
We're looking for a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional in Compute & Infrastructure Accounting to join our finance team. In this role, you'll lead the accounting and financial reporting for our rapidly evolving infrastructure investments-including cloud arrangement and other AI‑related deployments. This is a critical position supporting both the scale and accuracy of our infra‑related financial processes as we continue to grow and invest in advanced technologies.
You will partner cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Tax, Procurement, Engineering, and other key stakeholders to ensure accounting processes are efficient, well-documented, and in compliance with US GAAP. This role requires strong technical accounting acumen, hands‑on operational capability, and a passion for building scalable processes from the ground up.
This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Own end‑to‑end compute/infra costaccounting, ensuring accurate monthly close, accruals, allocations, and variance explanations.
Drive improvements in the quality of numbers by working cross‑functionally with internal and external stakeholders to improve the reliability of data.
Maintain a complete contract and pricing inventory (rate cards, amendments, credits, side letters) and translate terms into operational workflows.
Lead billing validation and dispute workflows with vendors, including rate testing, usage reconciliation, root‑cause analysis, and recovery tracking.
Design and strengthen controls (SOX‑ready) over compute data quality, pricebook governance, contract intake, allocation logic, and journal entry support-reducing manual touchpoints and unknown pricing/usage.
Build scalable processes and systems to support the scale‑up of the organization.
Drive process automation and ERP optimization for infra accounting and spend classification.
Collaborate with Technical Accounting to ensure the proper treatment of complex arrangements.
Work closely with cross‑functional partners to support business decisions and ensure alignment on infra‑related initiatives.
Support management reporting and dashboards to track infra spend, utilization, and trends.
Assist with internal and external auditors for compute & infrastructure costs and processes.
You might thrive in this role if you have:
6‑8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, audit or advisory services; operational experience following a transaction start to finish in technology companies is strongly preferred.
Strong understanding of US GAAP, particularly ASC 360, ASC 842, ASC 350, and CIP accounting.
Experience working with large‑scale fixed asset systems and ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).

About The Role
As the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting you will report to the Controller and play a key role within the Accounting organization. What You Will Do:
Develop, implement, and maintain revenue recognition policies, procedures, and processes to ensure compliance with ASC 606
Ensure the accurate recognition of all revenue streams including lending, credit card, and subscription services
Reconcile data between systems/sources identify discrepancies and collaborate with data and engineering to determine root causes and propose solutions
Ownership of the month‑end financial statement close process related to revenue by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
Work with external auditors during the annual financial audit, ensuring compliance with revenue accounting standards, AR balances, CECL requirements and commissions policies
Analyze and review contractual agreements to ensure proper revenue recognition and compliance with credit loss policies. Identify any potential revenue or credit risk accounting issues and ensure proper controls are in place
Oversee the company's compliance with CECL standards, ensuring that appropriate credit loss models are applied to the company's loan portfolios and other relevant assets
Research and review applicable sales tax calculations; review monthly sales tax filings
Partner across multiple cross‑functional teams as the leader for all revenue accounting related matters on new products, product feature updates, M&A and business development proposals
Critically analyze non‑recurring transactions by properly identifying the accounting implications of various explicit terms and implied nuances, applying appropriate accounting rules and literature and exercising judgment in subjective areas to draw reasonable and acceptable conclusions
Develop and implement policies, controls, and procedures to scale with the business

About You:
A minimum of 8+ years of experience in revenue accounting, ideally with a mix of industry and public accounting experience
Experience working in fintech, SaaS, financial services

Experience with ETL tools and other data transformation tools (Alteryx, Metabase, Snowflake, etc.)
