Job Summary
Mosquito Hunters Technicians are trained professionals responsible for applying mosquito and general pest control treatments to residential and commercial properties. Technicians are trained in the proper mixing, safe handling, and application of Mosquito Hunters products while delivering excellent customer service.
Technicians also support business growth through community involvement and grassroots marketing efforts, with opportunities to earn bonuses for activities such as requesting 5-Star reviews, placing lawn signs and door hangers, and participating in community events.
Responsibilities
Apply mosquito and pest control treatments to properties using backpack blowers (up to 60 lbs), handheld sprayers, and related equipment
Inspect properties for mosquito breeding sites, standing water, and pest activity; apply larvicides as needed
Survey landscapes and recommend solutions to help customers maximize treatment effectiveness
Follow all safety procedures, including EPA labeling, OSHA standards, state requirements, and proper PPE usage
Participate in required training to maintain certifications and enhance product and pest-control knowledge
Accurately complete job documentation in a timely manner
Respond professionally to customer questions and report concerns or complaints to ownership
Maintain a clean company vehicle and operate it safely and legally
Drive to client homes and businesses and work outdoors in heat, humidity, and uneven terrain
Represent the company with professionalism and a high level of customer service
Assist with marketing efforts including park-and-waves, door hanger distribution, lawn sign placement, parades, and community events
Request 5-Star Google reviews and support other approved promotional activities
Work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend hours as needed

What are the responsibilities of a Grounds Technician?
Responsible for the general upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community
Upkeep on parking lots, grounds surrounding the buildings, corridors, stairwells, laundry rooms, and mechanical rooms, if applicable
Collecting and removing trash as needed
Weeding of beds using appropriate tools
Monitoring the irrigation system to ensure all grass areas are adequately watered
Repairing or replacing sprinkler heads and lines as required
Reporting any unhealthy lawn, trees, shrubs, and plants to management
Edging around trees and landscape borders to maintain a neat appearance
