**Description**
The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University Medical School is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists in cardiothoracic imaging for full-time or part-time on-site positions to join the thriving, expanding Division of Cardiothoracic Imaging (CT).
Candidates ideally will integrate in the division focusing on cardiothoracic imaging, including chest X-rays, chest CT and MR, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer screening, cardiac CT and MR, and vascular imaging.
Our department is in a growth phase currently providing on-site and remote interpretive services for 8 hospitals and multiple outpatient imaging centers that compose the radiology practices of Emory Healthcare and the Grady Health System.The Division is strongly oriented toward innovation with several Artificial Intelligence tools available to support the daily practice and operation.
In collaboration with successful candidates, physician schedules are carefully composed to optimize work-life balance and prioritize long-term personal and division success. We have several template schedules within the department with multiple possible daily work arrangement based on candidate preference, including standard weekly assignment, 1 week on 1 week off schedule, 2 weeks on 2 weeks off schedule, 26 weeks on 26 weeks off schedule consisting of 8am-5pm weekday shifts and 7am-4pm shifts on the weekends/holidays, and additional flexible arrangements. This equates to 182 shifts of clinical duty per year in a full-time setting. We have additional schedules which can involve multispecialty imaging if this is an interest for the candidate and evening work. On-site and remote working shift may be offered according to candidate preference. Moonlight opportunities are available at request.
Candidates may decide to participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including teaching and trainee supervision.
State-of-the-art clinical equipment is present across the enterprise. The department has a strong commitment to faculty development and academic advancement.

* This role is the link between the call center Supervisors and Agents.
* The overall function of the Team lead is to assist supervisor(s) with the growth and development of team members into patient-centered, high-performing brand ambassadors focused on the delivery of excellent customer service in all patient interactions.
* Assist Supervisor: Monitor `the floor' to listen/watch for PAAs who may need assistance; including quality performance, call handling issues, observing call volume, etc; Serve as Initial point for call escalations.
* Track all escalations received. (Date, PAA, MRN, Outcome). Takes initiative to coach in the moment to assist PAAs in handling potential escalations and for improved performance on escalated calls.
* Provide Quality Patient Care: Mondays the Lead is expected to take calls all day and any other day/time as needed; and Deliver clear, courteous and pleasant verbal and written communication skills with appropriate grammar, pronunciation and tone.
* Team Player: Interpersonal skills to interact with the Patient Access Associates and Specialists with perceptive listening skills to identify the concerns and take appropriate actions with employees who may need help or are feeling frustrated.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
* High School Diploma; BA/BS preferred.
* At least 4 years of experience in a customer service, hospitality, call center or sales environment Or 12 months experience in the Patient Access Specialist role and eligible for internal advancement; meets defined call center metrics for progression.

Position Description:
Answer office telephones and direct callers appropriately

The International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) serves the University's international student and scholars, as well as their hosting departments.
As the Front Desk Coordinator, you will work with the ISSS team to perform daily front desk related duties including serving clients in person, via phone, email etc., as well as other relevant duties including serving as Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO), processing client requests submitted through the ISSS international case management system, triaging virtual/in-person walk-ins, coordinating/assisting with meetings, events, or programs and supervising part-time student workers.
Preference will be given to applications received by November 21st.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Receives notification of customer service complaints and initiates a resolution process.
+ Determines the severity of each request and prioritizes follow-up contact.
+ Communicates directly with customers to understand and resolve issues in an efficient and timely manner.
+ May visit the work site to investigate issues.
+ Enters data into a database management system.
+ Monitors cases to ensure a timely resolution.
+ Maintains files and records.
+ Establishes and prepares reports.
+ May provide direction to staff.
+ Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
+ A high school diploma or equivalent.
+ Three years of customer service experience.

The Front Office Specialist (FOS) is responsible for illustrating exceptional customer service and focus to WellStar's patients and customers. This includes greeting customers, registering patients at check-in and check out, answering telephones, scheduling appointments, cash management, and/or administrative functions that support the practice's operations. The FOS is an important team member in achieving patient experience, employee engagement, and financial goals. This position is considered a highly functioning position where the team member must be able to multi-task while at the same time communicate with various customers.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
__Customer Service:__
* a. In Adherence to our AIDET principles, the FOS will greet patients and guests in a warm, friendly manner in person or on the telephone; identifying self and practice.
* b. Answering incoming calls; directing to appropriate personnel, taking messages when appropriate within the EHR, handling non-clinical processes, and scheduling patient appointments as requested.
* c. Communicating quickly and often with patients, if there is a delay or wait for patient care.
* d. Working with both clinical staff and providers in a team approach.
* e. Managing patient call wait times; being alert to queues in the system, responding to voicemails and messages timely, offer options to call patients back, if they are on hold too long
__Operations/Revenue Cycle:__
* a. Registering/scheduling patients for appointments; ensuring patient insurance eligibility through Experion, checking in patients, scanning insurance cards and ID into the EHR, and ensuring completion of all necessary paperwork.
* b. Collecting co-pays and any outstanding balances, adherence to the WMG LD90 cash management policy.
* c. Managing cash allowance; verifying opening balance, ensuring all correct change and collections are made and accounted for, accurately balancing superbills/posting report with bank bag for each daily close.
* d. Checking patients out; collecting any deductibles or self pay account balances, setting up payment arrangements on balances, and/or scheduling next appointment visits
* e. Contacting patients for appointment reminders
__Administrative:__
* Coordinating with the clinic for pharmaceutical representatives, visitors, sample pick-ups, and other clinic requests
* Other duties as assigned by management.
