**Lineboat Pilot - St. Louis, MO** **This is a full-time, exempt-level position** **.** **Job Responsibilities:** + Navigates vessel and ensures safe operation of vessel as to not cause injury or damages. + Responsible for safety of all crew and conduct safety meetings. + Familiarity with Sub Chapter M regulations and vessel/crew requirements. + Complete electronic and paper forms and logs such as: navigation logs, maintenance logs, TMS wheelhouse forms. + Responds to any situation that would require emergency rescue or transit of persons. + Coordinate crew changes, fueling procedures, and grocery delivery. + Perform any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor. **Job Requirements:** + Must have a thorough knowledge of boat operations. Minimum of six months experience as a licensed pilot on Upper Mississippi River, Lower Mississippi, Ohio River, and/or Illinois River. + Mate (Pilot) or Master's license of Towing vessels upon Western Rivers + Radar certificate and FCC License **Physical Requirements:** Specific physical demands described in this functional job description have been validated by on-site job analyses involving, job shadowing, direct measurements and employee surveys.
