Inventory, and order lab supplies, as needed.
Catalog all foreign material evidence & review with Quality Manager to determine if further investigation is required.
Manage the Plant Retain Sample Program, including storage & disposal.
Review batch paperwork and associated quality checks, follow-up on discrepancies & update required spreadsheets. This includes but is not limited to signing off on quality checks, cleaning check lists, metal detection checks, calibration records, environmental & product testing records.
Manage the Quality Hold Program, including identification, placarding, disposition & disposal.
Participate as a member of the Plant Internal Audit Team.
Support Quality Manager in maintaining product sampling matrices, product specifications & sight samples, as well as, communicate revisions to the necessary personnel.
Support Customer Complaint & Root Cause Investigations.
Review, updated &/or create documentation to support the Quality Management System.
Support the Lab Technicians as needed, duties may include

Proficiency Testing

Basic Job Functions:

Ensure that any materials not allowed are not left on Company property
Remove and properly store any items or material occasionally
General duties involving physical handling of materials, supplies, etc.
Obtain required information from customers for all transactions, complete required purchasing and shipping documents, and conduct daily reconciliations.
Ensure regulatory and company requirements are met.
Coordinate shipments (rail and truck) and maintain safety records.
May assist other workers as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:
2 years in an industrial/outdoor work environment
6-day work week; Monday-Friday 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and Saturdays 7:45am to 12:00pm. Hours are subject to change.
Must be efficient, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with customers.
Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
Working experience around large trucks and heavy equipment preferred.
