The Position
We are seeking an experienced Landscape Architect/Designer with 8-15 years of experience to join our team at Hitchcock Design Group. The ideal candidate will lead multiple projects from conceptual design through construction, ensuring design integrity, client satisfaction, and alignment with our brand values. You will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, and resources, while guiding production teams and coordinating with consultants and contractors. Strong problem-solving, time management, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to independently execute project tasks and drive innovative design solutions. As a leader, you will also mentor junior staff, develop client relationships, and identify new business opportunities, contributing to the growth and success of our firm. Successful completion of the LARE exam is required.

Job Duties:
Lead multiple projects across various phases, ensuring design integrity and consistency with Hitchcock Design Group's brand.
Manage projects from conceptual design through construction, including coordination with subconsultants, production staff, vendors, and clients.
Conduct project meetings and manage schedules, budgets, deliverables, and resources effectively.
Maintain accountability for the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of project documents and presentations.
Monitor and communicate project progress, budgets, and accounts receivable status to clients and workgroup leaders.
Lead design efforts, guide production teams, and efficiently integrate client feedback to meet project objectives.
Assist clients with strategy development to meet their project needs, constraints, and schedules

Your Next Career Opportunity - Principal Network Design Architect
The Principal Network Design Architect will act as the subject matter expert and arbitrator on design, engineering, architecture issues relating to networks, routers, switches, servers, gateways, and the security enforcing functions applied to these system and service components. In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, technologies, and standards, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs, VPNs, SD-WAN, etc.
Experience with network virtualization, software-defined networking (SDN), and cloud networking technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices, including experience with firewall management, intrusion detection/prevention, and network access control.
