The Opportunity
We're seeking a Technical Architect Staff to lead enterprise-scale digital experience modernization across web, mobile, and contact center platforms. This role drives technical strategy, architecture standards, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless, scalable, and innovative member experiences. The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership, influencing architectural decisions and mentoring teams while aligning technology with business objectives.

What you'll do:
Architect and deliver multi-channel digital experiences (web, mobile, IVR) that serve millions of members and billions of monthly interactions.
Modernize enterprise APIs and services using REST, GraphQL, Golang, Spring Boot, and cloud-native patterns on AWS/OpenShift/Kubernetes.
Implement real-time and event-driven architectures (Kafka, AppSync) to enable responsive, personalized experiences.
Partner with product and design teams to ensure accessibility, usability, and performance across all digital touchpoints.
Integrate Adobe Analytics and other experience measurement tools to enable data-driven insights and personalization.
Define API-first strategies, microservices architecture, and integration patterns for enterprise-scale systems.

What you have:
Bachelor's Degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.
10 years of experience in the Information Technology field to include at least 2 years in a technical leadership role within IT.
Experience in technology application development and/or infrastructure and operational implementation.
Deep knowledge in a minimum of one technology domain (from an application, infrastructure, operations, scalability, availability, performance, people, process, and tooling perspective).
Demonstrated experience in explaining complex technology decisions to both technical and nontechnical audiences at all levels in the organization.
Demonstrated experience effectively communicating and developing high trust relationships with frontline and second level management and stakeholders.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $143,320.00 - $273,930.00.
