GPU AI Performance Architect (Sr. Engineer)
THE ROLE:
The Radeon Technology Group (RTG) Advanced Architecture group is looking for a GPU AI Performance Architect who will be engaged in data driven design and analysis to advance application performance for graphics and compute.
THE PERSON:
As an AI performance architect you will work on preparing AI workloads for pre-silicon models, analyze performance both post and pre silicon, and project performance of design changes. This work enables pre-silicon performance analysis of AI applications throughout AMDs RTG organization and constantly requires new and innovative solutions to keep pass with the constant evolving of AI models and computation hardware landscape.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain AI networks, microbenchmarks and synthetic tests from AI workloads to be used for pre-silicon performance analysis.

GPU AI Performance Architect
THE ROLE:
The Radeon Technology Group (RTG) - Advanced Archtecture Group is looking for a GPU AI Performance Architect. The RTG Advanced Architecture group is engaged in data driven design and analysis to advance application performance for graphics and compute.
THE PERSON:
As an GPU AI performance architect you will work on preparing AI workloads for pre-silicon models, analyze performance both post and pre silicon, and project performance of design changes. This work enables pre-silicon performance analysis of AI applications throughout AMDs RTG organization and constantly requires new and innovative solutions to keep pass with the constant evolving of AI models and computation hardware landscape.
KEY RESPONSIBITIES:
Lead a team of 4 engineers in the area of AI workload creation and analysis for pre-silicon models.
Develop and maintain AI networks, microbenchmarks and synthetic tests from AI workloads to be used for pre-silicon performance analysis.
Optimize AI applications for evaluating new architecture features requiring SW changes.
Project AI application performance from proposed design changes.
Analyze performance of AI workloads on silicon and architecture models to identify performance limiters.
Build performance tools and infrastructure for automation and accelerating analysis of application performance on silicon and pre-silicon models.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
4+ years' work experience in AI application development and team leadership
Experience in performance analysis, perf tool development and performance projections
Programming experience in scripting languages and C/C++
Strong communication and data organization skills through presentations, excel and document organization/automation.
Must be proficient in English verbal and written communication skills
Must have good teamwork and interpersonal skills to work with groups in US, China and India
