Duties/Responsibilities Client Experience & Collaboration Lead client design meetings at the AVENTIS Design Center, showrooms, and jobsites. Guide clients through selections with clarity, expertise, and AVENTIS design standards. Translate client vision into curated, functional, and fully buildable designs. Present design boards and cohesive finish packages that support confident decision-making. Design Development & Documentation Produce accurate AutoCAD drawings, including cabinetry layouts, millwork details, tile layouts, plumbing layouts, and interior elevations. Participate in conceptual design, schematic design, and elevation development for custom and semi-custom homes. Assist with architectural redlines to ensure design intent, constructability, and accuracy across all disciplines. Develop and detail unique design features that highlight AVENTIS craftsmanship, including specialty walls, millwork features, and custom-built elements. Integration with the Design-Build Process Upload and manage design selections, drawings, and documentation within Buildertrend or other construction management platforms. Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Construction Field Managers, and Superintendents to ensure field execution aligns with design intent. Review field conditions and collaborate with construction teams to solve design or fitment challenges. Ensure all design decisions align with permitting timelines, build schedules, and engineering requirements. Here's What You'll Need * Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field is required. * Must be a Licensed Architect. * 7+ years of professional experience preferred. * Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing to give assignments to office support staff, consultants, and vendors. * Willingness to make decisions; exhibit sound and accurate judgment; support and explain reasoning for decisions; include appropriate people in decision-making process; make timely decisions. * Must demonstrate proficiency in using Revit. * Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills required. * Knowledge of building codes required.
