Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:
PM, Architect, & Construction Admin/Doc exp. and knowledge: 7+ years exp. working CA/CD in an architecture firm
CA Registered Architect

Project Exp: Education (DSA K-12) & Arts, Cultural - a proven track record of success in managing the complexities of these project types.

Play an integral role in the team developing new or adapted manufacturing processes and equipment.
Apply expertise in material and process tolerances to design moving parts and complex assemblies.
Acquire proficiency in material properties for precious metals, plastics, wood, tool steel, aluminum, and 3D-printed materials to design components, complete assemblies, and process tooling.
Adapt insights from existing manufacturing processes, product designs and materials to shape future development projects.
Must have ability to articulate and understand complex concepts visually, verbally and in written form.

Your Role Gensler Los Angeles is seeking Junior Designers with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience. We are looking for someone who thinks critically, approaches work with tenacity and consistency, and can develop work in a group or independently. You will, collaborate with project leaders and develop materials for project delivery and client presentations.
What You Will Do
* Work with Project Leadership and project team(s) on conceptual designs, presentations, design development and production
* Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions
* Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and assist in construction drawings
* Assist, team communication and consultant coordination
* Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Your Qualifications
* Professional degree in architecture
* 1 - 5 years of related project experience
* Knowledge of Revit, Adobe Suite, Rhino preferred
* Outstanding conceptual 3-dimensional thinking and graphic presentation skills to effectively communicate design ideas
* Knowledge of InDesign, SketchUp, Grasshopper, Parametric Modeling, a plus
* Flexibility to focus on concurrent projects in various stages of development
* Ability to communicate design ideas and direction quickly
* A quick learner with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
