Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Architect who is fully competent in all conventional aspects of Architecture with a specific emphasis on Mission Critical Facilities supporting Office Space. The successful candidate will be required to independently solve problems encountered and perform architectural assignments under general supervision, and use independent judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria.
Key Responsibilities:
Team management and coordination of architects and/or technicians on assigned work to ensure that the work is being coordinated between disciplines and tasks are completed on schedule
Act as the liaison between vendors, contractors, as well as the Operations team to meet deliverables and completion dates
Draft, write, and proofread full reports and specifications
Assist with project proposals, scope of work, schedules, and fees
Develop budget estimates
Prepare and/or supervise preparation of architectural plans and renderings, consult manufacturers, evaluate and select materials, and inspect architectural features of structures in the field
Requirements:
5-10 years of architectural experience with NCARB registration
Ability to design in CADD
Design ability in Revit, and/or BIM is a plus, but preferred.
Registration as a licensed Architect is required for this classification
Excellent writing skills
Travel and Work Schedule:
Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.
