CSA Designer Overview:
The CSA Department (Civil, Structural, and Architectural) provides design and support for project execution, including pipe supports, equipment installations and regulatory permitting. Responsibilities include design and develop concrete and/or steel structures as required for projects, maintenance, and safety related items. Create, maintain, and store construction documents and drawings for project work, plant as-built drawings for reference, and record drawings that show type of construction. Work with external engineers for design completion and review. Our goal is to support the site, production plants, and projects by designing for ease of construction, reliability, and structural integrity while keeping cost and schedule in mind.
Responsibilities:
Equipment
• Evaluate and design structural steel capable of equipment support.

As a summer student intern, you will learn and collaborate with team members to help with projects from the initial vision to implementation. We are looking for talented and motivated Architectural Interns. Candidates will have the opportunity to efficiently and effectively participate, design and deliver successful building projects according to the latest design philosophy, approach, processes and technology. Involvement within project teams from schematic design through construction on projects, reviewing shop drawings and related submittals, coordinating consultants in all phases and directing the production of the projects are also part of the internship experience.

Pick up red-lines. Revise comments from other Peer Teams. Follow directions.
Builds model floor plans designed by collaborative Design Team.
Learn the process and procedures for coordination with Structural, Civil, MEP Consultants instructed by PM.
Learn building construction through guidance to draft wall sections and plan details.
Consultant coordination after receiving consultant procedure training.
Requirements
Current participation as a 3rd or 4th year architectural traditional or non-traditional architectural student at an accredited university working towards a Master's Degree or equivalent, a must.
Qualifications:
Candidate must be proficient in Revit and Microsoft Office. Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, ability to work effectively in a team atmosphere, and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and with a strong work ethic and personally driven to consistently meet project design and performance goals. Ability to work independently as well as with various disciplines and types of people and committed to being an effective, contributing team player.
