About the Role

You will assist in developing seasonal print and woven concepts using a CAD system to create repeats, colorways, and scale variations of both purchased and original artwork. What You'll Do
Support in the development of seasonal print/color concepts and build out relevant print/yarn dye/ embroidery pattern stories from that concept that are on brand
Input prints and yarn dyes in CAD system in multiple colorways and various sizes, maximizing efficiency and organization and meeting deadlines
Maintain an understanding of print and CAD technology trends in the market, providing relevant imagery to communicate print trends and build seasonal color palettes and pattern boards
Assist in preparing artwork packages that comply with production ready standards, providing well defined recommendations to meet business requirements
Ask effective questions and solicit feedback to understand needs
Complete structured assignments based on stated priorities, such as maintaining an organized project identification system and ordering supplies.

RRM Design Group is currently seeking a full-time Job Captain to join our Architecture team! Our growing firm is looking for an individual who is eager to be part of a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team that offers a great balance of professional fulfillment and fun.
YOUR ROLE LOOKS LIKE:
Provide creative design elements of complex projects and accurate CAD work
Collaborate in an innovative and respectful team environment
Lead in the production and coordination of construction documentation
Assist with project submittals and reproduction of documents
Mentor junior staff
Attend project and consultant meetings as required in a support role
Communicate with clients, consultants, and agencies
Work on both public and private projects
Requirements
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TABLE:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field
Minimum of five (5) years experience in an Architecture Office

Working towards licensure
Proficiency with Revit, Sketchup, and Photoshop
Knowledge of construction practices, building codes and computer applications and trends

Designer - Architecture & Interiors - Junior
Architectural designer job in Oakland, CA
Your Role
As a Jr. Designer in Gensler Oakland's Lifestyle Studio, you will work closely with project teams to deliver primarily Hospitality and Retail projects. Led by a Project Manager and Design Director, you will be guided to develop design solutions and coordinate the design through technical details. You will support the project through all phases of design, documentation, and implementation. You will be successful because you know how to translate sketches and documents into realized 2D/3D models and images, and research artistic and/or technical issues when they arise. What You Will Do
Participate in all project phases, including conceptual designs, presentations, schematic design, design development, construction documents, and construction administration
Collaborate with the design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies, and other vendors to meet overall project objectives
Produce graphic presentations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings
Utilize hand rendering techniques to communicate design concepts
Work in a synergistic manner with other design and professional staff
Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in interior design or architecture
1-3 years of related project experience or internship experience at a commercial interior design or architecture firm
Design sensibility for interiors work to contribute to retail or hospitality project types
Proficiency in Revit, or a strong capability to learn Revit quickly, is required
Proficiency in modeling using 2D/3D software, such as CAD, Enscape, 3ds MAX, Sketch-up and/or Rhino utilizing V-Ray a plus.
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel)
Knowledge of, or strong capability to learn, relevant building codes and accessibility requirements
Enrolled in IDP Program (NCARB or NCIDQ) and in process for state licensure is a plus
LEED Accredited Professional or in process is a plus
Ability to work in person in the office 5 days a week
Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment, work collaboratively, and have the ability to take direction from senior designers/architects.
Clear verbal communication abilities and attention to detail is a must.
Possess a visual communication style and ability to think and visualize in three-dimensions

Position Responsibilities
Actively leads distinct portions of a project with periodic supervision by Project Leadership. Exhibits initiative, process innovation, problem solving, and decision quality with a high attention to precision and accuracy at an overall project level.
Produces, coordinates and/or oversees presentation and contract deliverables such as diagrams, 3D models, drawings, renderings, physical models and animations.
