PMA is seeking a Senior Construction ProjectManager, Aviation Director, with strong projectmanagement capabilities to support the successful delivery of large-scale capital programs, beginning with a high-profile aviation hangar facility at San Francisco International Airport (SFO). This position serves as both the on-site construction lead and Owner's Representative, acting as the client's eyes and ears to ensure that all work is executed in alignment with scope, schedule, quality, and safety standards. The role requires hands‑on field oversight while also contributing to higher-level planning, risk management, and coordination with stakeholders and project leadership. The Senior Construction ProjectManager, Aviation Director, may also assume direct projectmanagement responsibilities as needed throughout the project lifecycle, from design through commissioning and closeout.
Organizational Responsibilities
Oversee large-scale and/or multi-project programs through feasibility, design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
Serve as the Owner's Representative on-site, managing stakeholder coordination and representing PMA in strategic discussions.
Act as ProjectManager for select workstreams, overseeing planning, budgeting, scheduling, and performance reporting.
Conduct regular site inspections and manage field activities to ensure compliance with specifications, safety regulations, and contract requirements.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance; enforce QA/QC protocols and lead resolution of design or construction issues.
Lead constructability reviews, impact assessments, and risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with engineering and planning teams.
Coordinate site logistics, utility shutdowns, commissioning (Cx), and Operational Readiness, Activation, and Transfer (ORAT) activities.
Respond to RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and change management processes to keep projects aligned and on track.
Manage documentation across systems, maintain safety logs, and generate daily progress reports.
Provide safety oversight, including review and verification of the general contractor's safety plan and implementation.
Support procurement, labor compliance, and DBE/SBE program tracking.
Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field required.
10+ years of progressively responsible construction and projectmanagement experience, with a minimum of 7 years in aviation, including airside, hangar, terminal, and capital infrastructure projects.
Experience acting as an Owner's Representative and/or ProjectManager on large, complex projects.
Proven track record overseeing contractors, managing trades, and maintaining schedule and specification compliance.
Experience with airside airport operations and FAA regulatory environments required; hangar construction experience preferred.
Progressive Design‑Build (PDB) delivery experience is preferred.
OSHA 30‑hour certification preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, construction management software, and document control systems; familiarity with BIM is a plus.
Strong skills in field issue resolution, reporting, scheduling, cost control, and team coordination.
PMP certification or Master's degree preferred; equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training will be considered.
An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered in lieu of stated minimum qualifications.

**About the role**
The Senior ProjectManager/Electrical Engineer provides consulting services to our global technology client account to help achieve the company's strategic business objectives. Stormwater Project Manager (QSD)

We are seeking a highly skilled ProjectManager who is QSD certified to support and lead construction environmental services projects with a primary focus on stormwater management, SWPPP development, implementation, and regulatory compliance inspections. This hybrid role provides an ideal balance between fieldwork-performing site inspections and documenting compliance-and office-based projectmanagement tasks, including report preparation, budgeting, and invoicing.
The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise in stormwater regulations under the California Construction General Permit (CGP), proficiency with the SMARTS system, and excellent communication and projectmanagement skills.
This position is a remote position with travel to job sites within the Orange County, CA area when needed.
Key Responsibilities
Stormwater
Prepare, update, and certify SWPPPs in accordance with the CGP.
Conduct pre-, during-, and post-construction stormwater inspections per CGP requirements.
Ensure installation and maintenance of erosion control, sediment control, and good housekeeping BMPs.
Conduct project-specific erosion and sediment control assessments and develop BMP designs.
Collect and analyze Qualifying Rain Event (QRE) stormwater samples in accordance with CGP protocols.
Conduct Non-Visible Pollutant (NVP) assessments and sampling when applicable.
Register projects, upload SWPPPs, certify documents, and maintain project information in SMARTS.
Track permit deadlines, data submissions, and maintain full regulatory compliance through SMARTS.
Interpret and ensure adherence to the Construction General Permit regulations.
Communicate with contractors, clients, and regulatory agencies regarding stormwater compliance.
Provide compliance guidance to project teams and support permit-related decisions.
Train and mentor junior staff on CGP compliance requirements and documentation.
Prepare inspection reports, compliance documentation, and regulatory submittals.
Communicate site needs, compliance risks, and monitoring results to clients proactively.
ProjectManagementManageproject schedules, deliverables, fieldwork logistics, and client expectations.
Track labor, equipment, and material costs; support project budget management and financial forecasting.
Prepare, review, and submit accurate project invoices and assist with financial tracking.
Maintain thorough project documentation and regulatory records.
Business Development Support
Help identify and assess new opportunities, contribute to proposal development, and support client engagement.
Prepare scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical content for proposals and renewals.
Collaboration & Communication
Serve as the primary client contact for stormwater compliance, SWPPP updates, and CGP/SMARTS-related questions.
Work collaboratively with environmental, field, and engineering teams to support project execution.
Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
Qualified SWPPP Developer (QSD) certification required.
2-5+ years of experience with construction stormwater management and environmental compliance.
Strong working knowledge of the California Construction General Permit (CGP) requirements and the SMARTS database.
Experience preparing SWPPPs, conducting site inspections, and implementing BMPs.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical report writing.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in both field and office environments.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to construction sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing multiple construction projects and client relationships.
Familiarity with California stormwater risk determination, and sampling protocols.
Experience with GIS, data management tools, or stormwater compliance software.
Experience and familiarity with diversion and dewatering practices and permit requirements is a plus.
Work Environment
Hybrid schedule: 50% office / 50% field.
Fieldwork includes walking uneven surfaces, climbing slopes, and exposure to varying weather conditions.
Office tasks involve compliance documentation, data entry, permit management (including SMARTS), and client communication.
Salary: $90-120K based on experience

As a Sr. ArchitecturalProjectManager, you will serve as a motivated market leader working across a wide variety of civic, public work, aviation, and transportation project types. You will bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to serving public-sector clients, leading multidisciplinary design teams, and driving high-quality production and timely project delivery. In this capacity, you will be responsible for the following:
* Be a client facing representative for GFT Architecture, project a positive attitude and be able to gain our client's trust.
* Generate project scopes, schedules, and budgets and be responsible for achieving and/or exceeding our performance in these areas.
* Lead complex projects and diverse project teams to serve clients with the aim of deepening our relationships.
* Leading through example by driving high-quality production of construction documents, including detailed drawings, specifications, estimates, and more.
* Serve as the primary contact with transportation clients on key projects.
* Ensure that project quality requirements are followed.
* Travel and lead teams on site visits as required for projects.
* Research and become familiar with client requirements including program, guidelines, and standards.
* Perform comprehensive code, life-safety, and product research.
* Lead projects from cradle to grave, starting from initial survey, through design, and through construction.
* Lead the development of design concepts and presentations that clearly express the project's goals and concepts.
* Lead production teams in the development of technical details including coordination with engineering disciplines.
* Coordinate work of all disciplines.
* Supervise the preparation of project specifications.
* Supervise the review of shop drawings and construction of RFIs.
* Help guide and mentor emerging architectural design staff.
* Lead and/or assist with the preparation of proposals responding to RFQ's, RFP's and other solicitations.
What you will bring to our firm:
* Bachelor of Architecture Degree or Master of Architecture Degree.
* Experience with software such as Revit Architecture, BlueBeam Revu, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
* Familiarity with aviation and transportation building types and requirements.
* Experience with SpecLink platform is a plus
* Effective writer, communicator, detail-oriented designer
* Able to work collaboratively with staff and clients on multiple projects.
* In depth knowledge of International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards.
* Organized individual with a positive team building spirit with a collaborative one team attitude.
What we prefer you bring:
* Licensed /Registered Architect in the United States.
* 15+ years' experience in Architectural Production.
* 10 years' experience in ArchitecturalProjectManagement.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $200,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
