Job Description
The Software Support Specialist II will support activities related to the Central Management System (CMS) and other software, including TrackLogs, hosted in the Web Operations Center (WOC).
is contingent upon contract award*
Primary Duties:
Track status and due dates for software licenses and maintenance contract renewals and notify the government at least 120-days in advance of software license expiration.
Track connection fees and due dates.
Track administrative and other fees and payment due dates associated with operating the CMS and other software in the WOC, including WOC costs and user responsibilities.
Software development, maintenance, and sustainment.
Code unit testing, integration and promotion to operations.
Programming, scripting, code management/repository (JIRA)
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 5-10 years of relevant experience in IT Security.
Familiarity with cloud operations

We need a person who has experience in data analysis, Smartsheet dashboard development, online learning systems, communications and project management. Primary Duties:
The Program Analyst will engage in Human Resource projects such as workforce development and training. Primary Duties:
If you have experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, and Jira, especially in the context of science and technology planning and even better in the government sector, then you could be a good fit for the job. Experience in both waterfall and Agile methodologies is also crucial for this role. We need your help planning for project milestones but also facilitating iteration and steady progress in NOAA's software development efforts.
You will work with subject matter experts to identify key milestones and map them to work breakdown structures - some good old-fashioned project management. There are several important projects, including planning a common cloud framework and on-prem integration. You will manage an overall schedule control board, help leaders to illustrate to partners that NOAA is tracking milestones related to satellite launches, for example, and bolster NOAA's capability to demonstrate to various constituencies that its capabilities support the broader U.S. satellite enterprise.

As a Field Application Engineer on our VCF Advanced Services team, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the success of our new and innovative solutions. Update and maintain NCO's electronic tracking tools of pending tasks.
Assist with updating the science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) curriculum document.
Maintain and update the GPS.gov website.
Required Education/Experience/Skills:
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience in policy, program management, or a related technical field.
Must possess and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI) security clearance to effectively utilize best practices, engage with stakeholders across the Federal Government, participate in meetings, and address national security-related issues.
Requires a thorough understanding of office operations within a PNT and GPS-centric environment and expertise in related technology and applications, comprehension of the legislative process, familiarity with STEM curriculum development incorporating GPS, and proficiency in website maintenance.

Salary at GST is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range or this position and is just one component of the GST total compensation package for employees.
