Mr. Cheng leads technology and product development at Archway, focusing on analytics and care management product development. Previously, he has been involved in various technology, big data, and media startups in New York City. He was co-founder and CEO of IgoUgo (www.igougo.com), one of the first user-generated content travel websites. IgoUgo won a Webby Award for the top travel site, and was acquired by Travelocity. He was also co-founder of Tripfilms.com and HotelConfidential.com.

He has also worked in investment banking, product development, and process engineering roles at JP Morgan, Citibank, and ExxonMobil.

He has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS from Cornell University in chemical engineering. He is the holder of three US patents.

Leading Archway’s analytics team, Dr. Soobader steers the strategic progression of payers and providers that are transitioning to and designing value-based care programs. She is a nationally-recognized subject matter expert in bundled payments and value-based reimbursement with a proven history of developing successful analytics and platform solutions for the healthcare industry. She has a strong background of partnering with nationally-acclaimed health systems to use technology to navigate the changing reimbursement landscape.

In 2013, Dr. Soobader received the John Rutherford Innovation Award, a prestigious corporate award granted for innovative solutions. She was also selected by Janssen Scientific as an industry expert to educate and inform their strategy on episodic payments. She has been published in a number of academic settings, including the Department of Health and Social Behavior at Harvard University, focused on the impact of health policy.

Dr. Soobader holds a doctorate in social epidemiology, a Master of Public Health from Boston University’s School of Public Health, and a degree in optometry from the University of Durban-Westville, South Africa.

Charlie is a seasoned financial professional with experience growing companies in fast paced environments. Charlie was the Chief Financial Officer of The Merallis Company, a technology services firm located in Rocky Hill, CT. Prior to Merallis, Charlie was a founding management member of PQC, Inc., a management services company which he helped grow to $80M in revenue. Charlie also founded Medical Claims Management (MCM), a practice reimbursement management and consulting firm. Earlier in his career Charlie worked as a Senior Consultant for Price Waterhouse and as Senior Accountant for Deloitte & Touche. He is a CPA, has a B.S. in Accountancy an A.S. in Management from Bentley College and an M.M. in Finance and Business Policy from the J.L. Kellogg School at Northwestern University. Charlie resides in Needham, MA with his wife and two children.
