Responsibilities:
Identify, develop, and evaluate new process technologies providing breakthrough capabilities for all innovations, renovations, and productivity initiatives within Schwan's manufacturing and co-packer facilities,
Lead the process development and process capability assessment to ensure product design aligns with process capability.
Develop and execute Commissioning, Qualification and Verification protocols.
Apply advanced statistics, experimental designs (DOE) and six sigma in problem-solving.
Interfaces with manufacturing and operations engineering departments to identify, educate and implement major cost savings projects or product improvements involving new processes, processing technology, and equipment.
Collaborates with other R&D groups, Manufacturing, and Engineering to develop process and equipment specifications for existing and new equipment or production lines including any improvement and/or changes.
Works with product development and manufacturing staff to develop process or equipment to reach attainment goals for new and existing production lines.
Develops, presents, and communicates preliminary capital proposals of new processing technology, equipment, or cost reduction opportunities including determination of ROI and other benefits, process or equipment specifications, and estimated capital investment and production capacity and attainment.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Science in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical or Food are ideal). Master's of Science in Engineering preferred.
6+ years of related experience, ideally in manufacturing environments.
Working knowledge of R& D product development flow from conception to product launch.
Strong in statistical analysis and Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Ability to develop and execute Commissioning, Qualification and Verification protocols.
Ability to read and produce tooling conceptual drawing with a CAD program such as SolidWorks. 3D printing experience is a plus.
Ability to develop Process Flow Diagrams and write preliminary capital proposals.
Ability to perform mass balance calculations, cycle time studies, and payback calculations.
Compensation and Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $81,750 to $136,250 annually with eligibility for a 10% annual incentive bonus that is based on organizational performance. The pay range represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to education, skills, work experience, certifications, geography etc. As such, starting pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Job Summary

Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.
If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program that included supervised clinical experience across the life span as part of the curriculum or have had a minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility. Performs side work during shift downtime including but not limited to; rolling silverware, restocking cleaning works stations and bussing tables, etc.
Executes the service cycle and team responsibilities at all times. Ensures 100% guest satisfaction on every visit.
Communicates with Manager on Duty and coworkers regarding product/service deficiencies. equipment, safety problems. Etc.
Keeps General Manager and Manager on Duty informed of problems and/or issues and proposes alternative solutions for consideration.
Processes Orders
Writes guest check and/or operates POS equipment pursuant to company policies.
Anticipates, identifies and corrects system breakdowns to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
Assists Team Members
Maintains service stations, garnish line, service bar and common areas of the restaurant
Restocks service station with glasses, tea, ice and plates
Restocks garnish line
Fills condiments
Sorts, polishes and rolls silverware
Cleans mirrors and artifacts
Runs food for all servers to ensure hot food is served hot
Maintains cleanliness of dining room, and pantry area.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ENVIRONMENT/WORKING CONDITIONS
Extensive standing and walking for up to 8 hours
Must be able to see at a distance (20) feet, at close range (12 inches), distinguish between shapes and utilize peripheral vision to avoid hazards.
Must be able to communicate clearly
Exposure to heat, steam, smoke, cold
Reaching heights of approximately 6 feet and depts. of 2 ½ - 3 feet.
Must have high level of mobility/flexibility in space provided
