Play a leading role in datacenter site selection and technical due diligence at Amazon. You will lead technical site due diligence projects, partnering with stakeholders across the AWS infrastructure organization, to shape the future of AWS' infrastructure growth and investments.
You will play a key role in site selection and site due diligence for new and existing AWS regions. You will scope the technical studies and analysis required to appropriately evaluate prospective datacenter sites, hire and oversee the work of engineering and technical consultancies, understand the inter-relationships between technical disciplines, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and interpret the results of this analysis to make site acquisition, design, engineering, and technology recommendations. You will evaluate the impact of identified site risks and constraints on development costs and schedules.
The right person for this role will have a strong track record of technical program management, the demonstrated ability to deliver multiple high priority projects simultaneously, the ability to drive alignment across teams with competing priorities, and be a strong advocate for technical risk management.
Key job responsibilities
- Guiding the expansion of AWS infrastructure in new and existing regions by delivering technical site risk analysis and due diligence assessments.
- Owning infrastructure site selection and due diligence projects, applying standard approaches, templates, designs, and processes.
- Scoping, contracting, supervising, coordinating, and interpreting the results of engineering, environmental, and technical studies
- Managing budgets, establishing schedules, escalating technical and project risks, and making trade-offs based on business priorities.
- Owning the multidisciplinary preliminary design for our sites consistent with AWS design standards and technical specifications. Assessing and drawing conclusions from a wide range of real estate, engineering, construction, policy, environmental, planning, and business development considerations and making associated technical and business recommendations.

Vantor is seeking a Sr. Customer Support Manager to join our USG team, focusing on expanding the use of our satellite imagery and derived geospatial solutions within NASA and other U.S. Civil Government agencies. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding and growing existing multi-million-dollar programs that leverage Vantor's cutting-edge spatial intelligence for applications in Earth science and disaster response.
This position requires a strategic mindset, sophisticated business acumen, and the ability to navigate the complexities of government procurement. You will collaborate with senior leaders internally and with program managers, researchers, and key decision-makers at NASA, NOAA, USGS, and other federal agencies. Your primary goal will be to expand Vantor's role as a critical partner in supporting national and global scientific objectives. This role is eligible to work remotely in the US.
What You'll Be Doing:
Expansion and Growth: Responsible for working with NASA CSDA team to identify use cases and adoption of our 2D and 3D products. Identify use cases for additional Vantor products and solutions. Survey potential use cases across Civil Agencies, drive demand to the NASA CSDA team, and execute on delivery.
Agency Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, program managers, and technical leads within NASA, NOAA, USGS, USDA, and other federal civilian agencies.
Solution-Oriented Mindset: Drive the adoption of Vantor's spatial intelligence solutions to support critical government missions, including environmental monitoring, natural resource management, and disaster resilience.

Minimum Requirements:

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and present credibly at all levels of an organization and within federal agencies.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in a technical field such as Geography, GIS, Remote Sensing, Engineering, or Environmental Science.
Proven experience and a strong existing network within NASA and/or other civil federal agencies (e.g., NOAA, USGS, USDA, EPA).
10+ years of business development experience with a proven track record of exceeding targets in the federal sector.
Deep knowledge of the federal acquisition process, including experience with various contract vehicles.
Experience with Earth observation missions or AI/ML applications for geospatial data is a significant plus.
Proven knowledge and experience managing a sales pipeline within Salesforce or a similar CRM system.

Support Sales and Marketing teams in the development of product positioning, presentations, press releases, product workshops, training workshops, and customer visits

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field; work experience may be substituted
Active Secret Clearance (with eligibility for TS/SCI)
3-5 years of experience working for a technology or product-centric company in a sales related capacity
Python, Java, or C++ experience
Experience navigating and partnering with the defense communit
Experience working with product teams with the ability to translate user workflows to products
Ability to travel up to 50%
Preferred Qualifications:
Background selling mission systems, data platforms, ISR capabilities, or dual-use defense technology.
Strong connections within defense communities
Excellent cross-functional skills across customers, sales, strategy, marketing, product, legal, and operations
Military background
Experience bringing new products to market
Self-starter with demonstrated success working in a deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision

● The pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $114,000.00 - $190,000.00 annually.
For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.

Physical Requirements:
This position requires the employee to comply with all applicable federal, state, local, Bright Horizons', and client site requirements concerning immunizations, employment physical/screening, and health and safety training. If hired, you will work in person in an early education/preschool child care center to provide supervision, care, curriculum delivery and services per Bright Horizons' policies, procedures and guidance, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, and in a manner that will ensure the safety of children in Bright Horizons care and the employee.

Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $14.65 - $18.20 per hour. The pay range listed here is what Bright Horizons in good faith anticipates offering for this job opening. Actual compensation offers within this range will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education and training, certifications, geography, and other relevant business or organizational factors.
This position is also eligible for a Hiring Incentive of $1,000 for Full Time employees payable after 100 days of employment
