Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Plant Maintenance Tech based out of our Rosser, Texas plant. In this role you will support positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As an Equipment Tech, you will work on preventive maintenance on equipment to keep the plant running and meet daily production.
Day to Day
* Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
* Proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance on production equipment and plant maintenance
* Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work Environment
* Some plant maintenance experience including welding
* Be involved with safety committee initiatives

* Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators

Position Overview:
As a Multi-Craft Electrical/Maintenance Technician, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing our production and facility equipment, ensuring we continue to deliver top-quality TPO roofing materials. Your Day-to-Day:
Follow Job Safety Analysis (JSA's), employ safe work practices, and report hazardous conditions.
Perform both routine and complex maintenance activities on mechanical and electrical systems.
Install and repair electrical conduit and cable, ensuring proper connections and grounding.
Utilize schematics for troubleshooting or installing equipment.
Conduct electrical measurements and use common shop tools for various maintenance tasks.
Inspect equipment, report defects, and perform preventative maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment to maintain optimal operations.
Track and manage work orders using SAP maintenance modules.
What You Bring to the Team:
High school diploma or equivalent
2-5 years of electrical/maintenance experience in a manufacturing or similar environment
Strong skills in troubleshooting, wiring, and installing industrial electrical equipment
Proven mechanical troubleshooting, installation, and repair abilities
Preferred Requirements:
Associate degree in a related technical area
Expertise in PLCs, HMIs, and associated hardware
Knowledge of 24V - 480V AC/DC electrical power and control systems, VFDs, and PLC systems
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in typical manufacturing conditions with exposure to varying environmental factors.
Capacity to work 12-hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds as needed.

Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor schedules, coordinates, and supervises the maintenance crew, preventive/predictive maintenance, and mechanical repair activities.
What you'll be contributing:
Promote and follow all plant safety guidelines.
Provides technical assistance in the safe use of tools and equipment, training new and current employees on proper procedures, techniques, and safety precautions.
Schedules and coordinates daily preventive/predictive maintenance and mechanical repair activities and projects.
Inspects job sites before beginning maintenance projects to identify hazards and ensure a safe work environment.
Operates computerized preventive maintenance and repairs system to prepare work orders, document work activities, and maintain all records.
Assesses and gives performance feedback to the maintenance crew.
Maintains records of attendance and paid time off.
Analyzes and writes job procedures for new jobs and modifies procedures for existing jobs
Estimates time and parts required to complete projects and repairs.
Collaborates with Purchasing Agent to ensure adequate supplies are ordered or in stock for projects.
Assists in contacting vendors and obtaining contractors regarding maintenance needs

Coordinate and supervises the work of contractors for specified maintenance activities
Assists in preparing the budget for capital expenditures planned for maintenance projects and repairs

To succeed in this position, you will need:
High School Diploma or GED is required
2 year/Associates Degree in a related area is preferred
Minimum 3 years of supervisory or maintenance experience in engineering, or facility management in a similar position in related field.

Ability to read, write, and understand warning labels, instructions, signs, etc.

Work closely with Production Team to ensure quality and productivity objectives are met or exceeded. Conduct routine, extensive, timely preventative maintenance and repair procedures on buildings, mechanical equipment and utility systems. Work with Plant Manager and Production Team to develop new and creative ideas to improve productivity. Ensure safe practices in performing maintenance and machine operation functions in compliance with Company Safety Policy/Procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Troubleshoot and repair equipment that is down or in need of repair:
* Perform timely and professional troubleshooting tasks such as Robotic, electrical, mechanical, welding, and pneumatic.
* Troubleshoot three phase, single phase, PLC controlled equipment, control circuits, motors, VFD's and test fuses as well as troubleshoots apparatuses such as level probes, limit switches, switches, photo eyes and proximity switches.
* Troubleshoot gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, elevators, gates, fans, dryer, dust collectors, palletizers and baggers. Welding may consist of arc welding steel and the use of a cutting torch. Most welding would be repair welding with some fabricating. Pneumatic maintenance may consist of troubleshooting air compressors, air dryers, air cylinders, air valves and air solenoids.
* Maintain facility and facility systems: Perform building maintenance and/or repair of building systems. For example, door repair, dock repair, changing light bulbs, minor plumbing, heater repair and changing HVAC filters.
* Preventive maintenance on all equipment: Need to complete daily, monthly and annual preventative maintenance check lists in a timely manner. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant. This may consist of inspecting, greasing, cleaning or repairing production equipment to insure uninterrupted production capability. Checklists may be provided for the minimum amount of preventative maintenance to be performed.
* Operate appropriate hand and power tools for performing maintenance: Efficiently use wrenches, pliers, socket sets, screwdrivers, punches, hammer, and other hand tools. Operate drills, drill press, and grinders safely and efficiently.
* Responsible for notifying the designated person to order the parts needed for maintenance: Identify parts needed to repair equipment. For example, sprockets for conveyor or belt size and length needed for conveyor. Must be able to look up parts in machine manuals and identify what is needed for the repair.
* Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times, including an organized parts room. Maintenance personnel will be designated a workbench with tools and will be responsible for the work area and the tools. Leaving tools or debris lying around is unacceptable.
* Perform maintenance task using appropriate safety equipment and safety procedures (i.e.: lockout tag out, guarding, confined space, use of respirators and fall protection). Maintenance will be required to follow company's lock out tag out policy. Replace all guards before putting a piece of equipment back into service after working on it. Use a respirator in certain location working in the plant. Adhere to the company's policy on fall protection.
* Provide backup to workers engaged in production, warehousing, inventory management, and shipping as needed to facilitate an accurate order-fulfillment process.
* Optimize efficiency, productivity, and equipment performance in order to meet objectives. Develop, implement, and verify standard operating procedures (SOP) for all job-related tasks.
* Ability to be on-call during all production shifts for troubleshooting assistance and be available to travel to plant as needed.
* Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company and ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
* Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
* Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical knowledge and skills equivalent to a vocational technical degree. Vocational degree/certificate and 3+ years' experience in the manufacturing industry preferred.
* Strong communication, leadership, math, and interpersonal skills. Must be able to read, write, and speak in English.
* Experience and ability to work with machine operators, equipment operators, and plant production workers.
* Experience with building and property maintenance and understanding of manufacturing equipment and process essential.

About the Role: We are looking for a motivated and hard-working Valve Technician to join our team in Conroe, Texas. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the teardown, repair, new assembly, calibration, and diagnostics testing of frac valves. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Calibrate, test, and troubleshoot valves and related instruments.
Assemble new and repaired equipment to meet quality standards.
Document repair, testing, and assembly activities including failure analysis, parts used, and labor hours.
Perform inventory control tasks such as stocking, pulling parts, and cycle counting.
Communicate with customers for technical support, troubleshooting, and repair quoting.
Disassemble, clean, and evaluate parts for reuse or replacement.
Prepare surfaces and paint assemblies and parts.
Stamp and tag nameplates accurately.
Package and ship parts, including crating when necessary.
Conduct final inspections and complete inspection reports.
Sign and document compliance sheets.
Follow all safety protocols and company regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Support other team members and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of experience in a related mechanical or industrial role.
Experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Plant Maintenance Tech based out of our Rosser, Texas plant. In this role you will support positive safety culture in an aggregate environment that is regulated by MSHA safety standards. As an Equipment Tech, you will work on preventive maintenance on equipment to keep the plant running and meet daily production.
Day to Day
Actively promote safety awareness and continuous improvement through positive recognition
Proficient knowledge of preventative maintenance on production equipment and plant maintenance
Cleans equipment, clears obstacles in work Environment
Some plant maintenance experience including welding
Be involved with safety committee initiatives
Comply with all industry safety rules, procedures and applicable government regulations.
Perform daily pre-shift equipment and workplace inspections to maintain equipment performance
Maintain strong communications with other plant employees and operators
Perform other duties or responsibilities as assigned
About You
Prompt, regular, and predictable attendance
