The inspector will be required to interpret and evaluate inspection results for welding fit-up and filler metal placement with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications, be able to set up and calibrate all testing equipment Use visual inspection techniques (VT) as well as Ultrasonic testing (UT) and Magnetic Particle Testing (MT) to perform non-destructive tests to identify errors or defects in product. Oversee welder qualification tests and evaluate welder performance. Accurately complete and maintain all required records. Follow all safety rules and practices. Perform other duties as assigned. Overtime is expected and required to meet production goals.
