* The nurse director provides leadership and mentorship in the development of leaders and staff.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
* Master's Degree in Nursing or within 2 years.
* Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.

What You Will Do In Your Role:
* Coordinates and manages innovation in clinical nursing practice. * Provides coordination for the hospital shared decision making council structure and participates directly as appropriate to insure the viability and efficacy of the program. Serves as a coach for the chairs of the SDM councils and assists the chairs in successful council follow-up and follow-through.
* Assists the CNO in developing partnerships with schools of nursing for innovative curriculums and positive recruitment strategies for newly licensed students. Assists CNO in establishing Advanced Practice roles for advancing the practice of nursing.
* Works collaboratively with unit nurse directors and nursing educators ,and nurse researchers to support the development of evidence based practice including policy/procedure and practice development and revision. Establishes unit/council/leadership journal clubs.
* Ensures consistent input into clinical standards of nursing practice. Horizontally integrates standards of care.
What qualifications you will need:
* A minimum of a master's degree in nursing or affiliated degree is required.
* A minimum of 5 years progressive leadership experience in acute care nursing.

Seeking a Director of Nursing for Oncology who is responsible to the Senior Director, Vice President and/or the Chief Nursing Officer for facilitating, coordinating and delegating the delivery of patient care to a defined group of patients during their entire hospitalization period. Job Summary and Qualifications
The Director is responsible to the Chief Nursing Officer for the management of the areas/units in the department under his/her direction. This includes responsibility for the organization, coordination and direction of patient care services for patients admitted to this area and for participation in activities designed to increase patient census and control costs in these areas. 1. *Responsible for the oversight and supervision of all processes in accordance with recognized and accepted internal (e.g. unit, department, and hospital) and external (e.g. JCAHO, Medicare, OSHA) standards in order to facilitate optimum care and health education for patients and appropriate utilization of resources which support daily operation in his/her area.

The following activities are unique to this position: a) Represents the MHS facility and interfaces with other facility Directors, MHS leadership, medical staff and the community. b) Identifies and guides human and material resource needs and activities in his/her area. c) Provides oversight and analysis of the annual budget and assists the CNO with the development of strategic and business plans. d) Monitors variance/occurrence reporting of financial and clinical performance data in his/her areas.
3. Works cooperatively with the Nurse Administrators/Nurse Managers to communicate daily issues of concern and maintain adequate staffing and processes to optimize patient throughput.
4. Provides leadership and direction to the Nurse Managers to ensure appropriate staffing in accordance with the organizational goals and objectives. Identifies modifications in staffing based on patient acuity and census.
5. Supervises and directs the Nurse Managers to address patient, visitor, employee and physician incidents/complaints and ensures that timely & appropriate follow up occurs.

What qualifications you will need:
* Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Director is responsible to the Chief Nursing Officer for the management of the areas/units in the department under his/her direction. 3. Works cooperatively with the Nurse Administrators/Nurse Managers to communicate daily issues of concern and maintain adequate staffing and processes to optimize patient throughput.
4. Provides leadership and direction to the Nurse Managers to ensure appropriate staffing in accordance with the organizational goals and objectives. Identifies modifications in staffing based on patient acuity and census.
5. Supervises and directs the Nurse Managers to address patient, visitor, employee and physician incidents/complaints and ensures that timely & appropriate follow up occurs.
6. *Evidences commitment to Total Quality Management and shared governance activities. a) Focuses on meeting or exceeding customer expectations. b) Participates in and/or leads Process Improvement Teams, Department Improvement Teams, Task Teams, and/or individual process improvement efforts. c) Attends hospital, area and unit/departmental TQM educational offerings.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.

What you will do in this role:
* Provide leadership, management and administration of all aspects of departments in order to ensure organizational mission and objectives are met

* RN License in the states where the HCA facilities for that Division are located - multi-state license required if Transfer Center covers more than a single state (may be obtained upon hire)
* Knowledge of the principles and practices of hospital and clinical operations and/or healthcare management
* Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people, including but not limited to Corporate/Division leadership, HCA transfer center leadership, staff from information technology and clinical backgrounds, physicians, and external vendors
* Must be independent, driven, self-motivated, and passionate with an exceptional work ethic, executive presence, integrity and presentation skills, both oral and written

What Qualifications you will need:
EDUCATION
Graduate from a recognized training facility for medical assistants, and course‐work in health care office management are preferred. RN, LPN (LVN), or additional appropriate education may be substituted for certification.
Additional appropriate experience as a Medical Assistant may be substituted for the education requirement.
EXPERIENCE:
Five years of clinical experience in a medical office setting is required including 2 years in a clinical management position.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE:
MA or LPN is required. CPR Certification.
