Key Responsibilities · Prepare patients and perform CT and general radiographic procedures in accordance with established protocols. · Ensure patient safety through correct positioning, radiation protection, and compassionate communication. · Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation within EMR/PACS systems. · Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and support staff to ensure workflow efficiency. · Uphold quality control standards and maintain clean, organized exam rooms. · Provide excellent customer service and demonstrate professionalism in all patient interactions. · Contribute to team meetings, compliance training, and departmental quality initiatives. Minimum Qualifications · High School Diploma or GED required. · Completion of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program (or equivalent). · Valid California Radiologic Technologist License (CRT or MRAD:CA) required. · BLS/CPR Certification required. · 1 year of CT or Radiologic Technologist experience preferred. · 6 months of outpatient or clinic-based experience preferred. · Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. · Demonstrated proficiency in anatomy, physiology, and radiation safety. · Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems preferred. Physical Requirements Medium physical demand: lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, standing and walking frequently. Must be able to position patients and operate imaging equipment safely.
