(start date January 2026). Primary responsibilities include: Assist in the creation, layout, and design of post-flight certificates. Maintain and update participant lists required for certificate generation. Coordinate with the NASA Print Lab to produce physical copies of certificates. Prepare commemorative materials by mounting designated items onto certificates. Frame completed certificates for formal presentation. Design and assemble PowerPoint presentations for use during commemorative events. Ensure consistency across all design assets, including proper logo usage, color schemes, typography, and imagery. Edit, format, and retouch commemorative post-flight certificate materials as needed. Support the production, organization, and archival of design assets. Collaborate closely with the Orion Strategic Team to understand project requirements, timelines, and design standards, ensuring high-quality and timely deliverables. Perform additional duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to plan, lead, and coordinate a wide range of tasks. Self-starter who excels in a dynamic environment that requires him/her to work effectively both alone and as part of a team. Working knowledge of the Adobe Creative suite. Working knowledge of graphic design and publication layout portfolio is required. Portfolio will be evaluated on quality of freelance or past intern work only. Classwork will not be considered.
