PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.
Install, repair, rebuild and otherwise maintain heavy duty and highly complicated machine tools and equipment.
Diagnose machine malfunctions and operating difficulties; make affect repairs and adjustments.
Layout repair parts; set up and operate machines tools to machine parts frequently improvising standard machines, tooling and attachments.
Perform skilled operations such as fitting and aligning of bearings, spindles, and shafts, scrape ways; fit, align and calibrate measuring devices and moving parts.
Perform machinist's work having to do with the installation of new machinery and equipment.
Maintain incidental record systems for repair and service work.
7.Work from machine design drawings, code books, handbook formulae, and plans and sketches.
Use scale, squares, micrometers, calipers, levels, bars, tests sets, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to be successful in this role.
Knowledge of mechanics, machine design, machining practices and techniques.
Knowledge of advanced shop mathematics, job layout, and measuring procedures.
Journeyman apprenticeship plus 4-5 years of experience.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Daily work may include bending, crouching, and reaching.
Job duties will also include lifting, stretching and turning, up to 95% of the time; from ground to waist and from waist to overhead. Often, lifting up to 50lbs unassisted is required.
Standing and walking 75-80% of the time is to be expected.

5years of experience (3 w/ Master's Degree) with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel

2 years (1 year w/ Master's Degree) of technical leadership experience in manufacturing businesses that produce custom products and appliance products
