A Day in the Life: As a clinic receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clinic clients and their pets. Responsible for front office first impressions and building relationships with the clients. Answers high-volume medical and scheduling calls in a timely and courteous manner, while also servicing in-person customers. Maintains accurate scheduling based on veterinarian schedules and available resources. Responds and appropriately handles emergency situations in a calm, professional and effective manner. Creates service estimates. Ensures confirmation of next day's appointments. Maintains online pharmacy order requests in a timely manner. Properly discharges hospitalized patients when assistants or technicians cannot perform discharges. Provides client with necessary post-operative or post-hospitalization instructions (both oral and written) and provides the client with all necessary medications. Work Environment / Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. A Day in the Life: As an Animal Care & Experience specialist, you will demonstrate innovation, compassion, and excellence by ensuring all animals receive: kindness, compassion, low stress handling, positive interactions, mental stimulation, and physical exercise daily. You will you will clean and sanitize facility and animal habitats according to outlined procedures and timelines, including emptying garbage, washing dishes, laundry, dog yards, and walkway sanitization daily. Feed, water, and maintain animal habitats in accordance with departmental and organizational standards at all times. You will also guide and work alongside volunteers and new team members. Job Requirements: High school diploma OR GED Customer service or animal experience (preferred). Proficiency with or ability to learn/use Chameleon software for use with animals in shelter. Have and maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all animal care and experience procedures. Handle all animals humanely per our low-stress and fear-free standards; correctly use safety equipment if necessary. Adhere to all established workflows to ensure the needs of the animals, the department, and the organization are met. Understand and adhere to all set cleaning, chemical, handling, and safety procedures. Work Environment / Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. There may be occasional wet floors, animal noises, odors, and dander. A Day in the Life: The Pet Resource Center Coordinator will support the Arizona Humane Society's Pet Resource Center by assisting with call volume, providing real-time chat support, and ensuring excellent caller experiences through weekly interaction scoring. They will assist the Supervisor with coaching team members across multiple communication channels to meet or exceed performance goals. The Pet Resource Center Coordinator will foster a positive team culture through recognition and engagement, monitors the real-time queue to ensure efficient call, voicemail, and chat handling, and provides up-to-date resources, training, and SOPs. They will promote team growth by supporting individual and departmental goals, identifying talent, and preparing top performers for advancement. Job Requirements: High schooldiploma/GED required. Associate or Bachelor's degree, or comparable work experience preferred. Minimum two years of experience in a customer service or call center position required. Prior supervisory experience in a customer service or call center environment is required. Must possess excellent customer service and interpersonal skills and be able to resolve conflict. Must be able to function in a fast-paced environment. 6 months to 1-year experience at AHS or in an animal welfare environment preferred. Able to speak, read, and write English; Spanish language helpful. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Explorer; able to learn other software programs as necessary. The position requires proficiency in Chameleon software, CAMs, and Acuity scheduling software, or the ability to learn/use all of the software. Serve as a lead to the Pet Resource Center Specialists. Assist with training and directing the team in day-to-day operations. Handle Tier 1 customer escalations as necessary; settle disputes involving public and employee concerns. Assist with keeping all training materials up to date and in line with the expectations of both the AHS and the PRC mission statements. Maintain a positive PRC workplace that encourages the team to develop as individuals and as a team. Encourage a culture of community and relationship building as employees speak to callers about their pets. Perform all duties of a PRC Specialist, including answering inbound calls via multiple queues and make outbound callbacks in a timely, compassionate, and professional manner. Performs regular Quality Assurance assessments of all interaction channels to ensure a consistently Excellent Experience every time, providing regular feedback and coaching to team members. Physical Demands/Work Environment: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. There will be exposure to dust, heat, cold and temperature changes; occasional wet floors, and animal noises, odors, and dander. Work Environment / Physical Demands: This position requires continuous standing, walking and kneeling, reaching, stooping and bending with little opportunity to sit down. This person must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The position requires repetitive motion of the hand, wrist and elbow as well as good vision and hearing. Must be able to hear above the sound of the animals and be able to speak clearly and communicate well with employees and the public. This individual handles a high volume of animals, has a great deal of contact with all departments and works closely with co-workers; is exposed to poor ventilation, heat, cold, sudden temperature changes and wet quarters as well as noise, animal odors and dander as well as potentially dangerous, fast-moving animals.
