The Opportunity…

Keep all mechanical and electrical equipment throughout the plant in optimal operating condition. Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment and production machinery. Assist production operators with machinery set-up. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment as needed.

* Follow all company policies and procedures.
* Follow and ensure compliance to quality system and cGMP programs.
* Assist operators and employees with setup and operational issues. Make adjustments to machinery to correct minor problems with product aesthetics, quality, or operational efficiency of equipment
* Repair mechanical issues such as replacing stripped bolts, broken belts, replaces motors, gear boxes, bearing, VFDs and drives.
* Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in various machinery.
* Develop, fabricate and install various changes to machinery to improve operational performance or correct operational deficiencies
* Install electrical wiring, conduit, and disconnect for machinery and equipment.
* Set up new equipment and train operators on equipment usage.
* Purchase materials for repairs and/or replacement as directed if within spending guideline.
Qualifications
* Non-supervisory role.
* Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Three years of work experience needed.
* No certifications or licenses required.
* Must have moderate math skills.
* Moderate reading skills required.
* Must have basic computer skills
* Must have basic language skills.
* Must have basic writing skills.
* Must be willing to learn new tasks and procedures.
* Ability to efficiently and effectively perform all essential position duties and responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodation without posing a direct safety threat to self or others.
* Maintain a regular and dependable work attendance record with few instances of unplanned and/or unexpected absence.
Machines Typically Operated
Include but are not limited to test equipment, multi-meter, welder, grinder, saw, and drills, and all manufacturing and mechanical equipment.
