Faculty rule the University and their poor behavior is not addressed. People are given positions of power because of their titles snd degrees not because of their skill or integrity.

The leadership team shoves problems under the rug and there is lots of cronyism.

There needs to be an overhaul of HR. There also needs to be 360 reviews of any director or tenured professor. The toxicity has to stop

Direct line staff are more diverse, anyone in management and up or with tenure is white. So no meaningful diversity.

As a student worker, they are very flexible with your schedule and understand that school comes first.

Cons of working at Arizona State University

They have a 20-hour cap for hours and you can't go over unless its summertime and your job permits it.

It's federal work-study eligible. They are also very lenient when it's finals week.

Department chairs say demeaning things to female faculty and NEVER have anything happen to them. Upper Administration just sits on their hands and does nothing about it.
