What do you like best about Arkansas Electric Cooperative's CEO and the leadership team?
Our CEO has a good perspective of what we need to do to produce power in the most practical and environmentally safe way.
How would you improve Arkansas Electric Cooperative's culture?
Overall there is a great culture, but there seems to be some drama between AECC and AECI (the two sides of the company).
How did you prepare for the Arkansas Electric Cooperative interview?
I had to pass the CAST Test prior to interviewing. I thought through my experience in building substations and applied that knowledge to my interview.
How does your compensation at Arkansas Electric Cooperative compare to the industry average?
I think we are below the national average in what we actually get paid for our job. Our pay scale is comparable, but we tend to hang out at the Barton half of the scale and most do not ever make it to top out.
