* Direct and manage the administrative function of a correctional facility to include oversight of all facets of facility operation, fiscal responsibility, and day-to-day management of staff.

* Represent the facility externally and internally on committees and at meetings as required.
* Oversee and review all external contracts to ensure adequate reimbursement for clinical services and adherence to contract requirements.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or Public Administration required
* Strong health care administrator background is ideal in this environment.
* Willing to travel 10% of the time
* Three years of administrative healthcare experience are required.
* Excellent interpersonal skills include negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* Solid understanding of data analytics with the ability to generate, analyze and interpret data.

Responsibilities

Experience / Skills
A minimum of 3 years' clinical experience in a mental health care or acute care setting, with correctional healthcare experience preferred
Must have knowledge and experience in the identification and treatment of mental health and co-occurring substance abuse disorders, discharge planning, principles of social work, basic principles of individual and group behavior, and a working knowledge of psychotropic medications
Correctional counselors must be able to remain calm under pressure while assess patients' situations, underlying causes of their behavior and be able to develop interventions and treatment plans
Effective communications skills are required for building patient rapport and relaying information and treatment plan with other medical and mental health care professionals
Strong organizational skills are needed to keep track of patient treatment plans and progress notes
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information and integrity, professionalism and ability to adhere to a Code of Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Must pass the facility's criminal background check and drug screening
Physical Capabilities:

Responsibilities
* Provide holistic (RN) nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
* Assess physical, psychological, and social dimensions of patients; obtain health history and provide a written assessment of patients upon admission.
* During custody and upon discharge, document and communicate triage decisions to the appropriate health care provider.
* Develop individual nursing care plans using nursing assessment protocols in consultation with health care providers.
* Implement medical care plans to include diagnostic tests, EKGs, etc., according to physician orders.
* Administer medications using proper techniques, procedures, and approved routes of administration; nutrition and therapeutic diet plans.
* Assist physician in medical or minor surgical procedures as necessary.
Qualifications
* Current state license as a Registered Nurse (RN)
* Current CPR certificate
* Proficient with electronic medical records
* Ability to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance to include background check and drug screen

Responsibilities
* Provide holistic nursing care to patients in a correctional setting.
* Assist health care providers, registered nurses, and allied health professionals with examinations, treatments, special tests, and routine procedures.
* Obtain patient health history, laboratory specimens, vital signs and administers TB skin tests.
* Conduct lab tests and ensures the results are delivered to the correct physician or registered nurse.
* Ensure patient is receiving proper care for injury or condition.
* Review patient chart; records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in patient's conditions.
