Armor Express is looking for a full-time fabric C utting Machine Operator on our production team. This role is at the front end of our production throughput. We provide all training needed to do the job. This role consists of the following duties:
Responsibilities:
Reads work order, or receives oral instructions, regarding specifications, for fabric to be cut.
Adjusts feeding guides, blades, settings, or speed, to regulate specified depth, length, or width of material, using hand tools or hands.
Observes cutting machine in operation, to ensure even flow of fabric and to detect jamming, improper feeding, or foreign materials.
Feeds fabric into cutting machine, conveyor, or under cutting blades, by threading, guiding, pushing, or turning handwheel.
Moves fabric or scrap to and from machine transporting either manually or using cart, hand truck, or lift truck.
Verifies the quality and output of the cutting machine
Follows standardized work policies and procedures including all standardized work.
Meets all quality standards, production quotas or run rates.
Practice safety at all times which includes, but is not limited to, following all posted safety rules, common safety practices, correcting hazardous conditions within their area of responsibility and reporting unsafe conditions in any area to their supervisor
Start, stop and adjust the machine as needed

Performs responsible operational, laboratory, and maintenance functions in a water or wastewater treatment plant.
Distinguishing Features of the Class
An employee in this class performs a variety of operational, laboratory, and maintenance duties designed to produce safe treatment of potable water, and disposal of domestic and commercial wastewater. Coordinate with City staff to obtain right-of-way and easements on linear projects funded with local, State, and federal funds, following the Uniform Relocation Act, as necessary.

Summary/Objective

Natural Gas Supervisor
Performs difficult technical and supervisory work planning, organizing and directing the work of a division and crews engaged in installation, maintenance, repair, and operation of the natural gas distribution system while ensuring
regulatory compliance and all safety regulations.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS
An employee in this class leads and directs Natural Gas Operations crews, under the supervision of the Natural Gas
Superintendent, to ensure timely completion of natural gas maintenance, construction, regulatory work and damage
control. Employee leads and fosters a culture of employee engagement and communicates clear expectations. Emphasis
of the work is on the development and monitoring of performance agreements and employee coaching and training.
Employee is responsible for ensuring employee certifications are current and maintained. Work includes the
construction, maintenance and repair of gas lines and involves planning work projects based on extension, maintenance
and emergency needs. Employee is responsible for coordinating work with customers, assign ing crews to projects,
responding to customer concerns and requests, and inspecting contract work. Work is performed under general
supervision and is evaluated on the basis of attainment of individual and divisional goals, accomplishing work objectives
within budget limits, promoting a positive work culture, ensuring proactive and responsive customer service, and
compliance with safety regulations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plans and directs crews, equipment, and materials to install, maintain, and repair natural gas lines.
• Manages employee on-call and daily work schedules ensuring adequate staffing and coverage.
• Supervises crews engaged in testing, repairing and replacing main line distribution, service lines, meters, regulators,
regulation stations, telemetry and other apparatuses.

• Provides proactive and responsive customer service, thoroughly addressing customers' requests and questions and
ensuring complaints are handled as quickly and professionally as possible.
• Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and codes for the Natural Gas Distribution System;
ensuring all federally mandated deadlines are met.
• Monitors daily operations to enhance and maintain a high degree of public trust; identifies and influences the
implementation of best practices to improve productivity, safety, public image, and to reduce operating costs.
• Attends staff meetings and communicates frequently with Natural Gas Superintendent to ensure clear and consistent
communication is maintained between staff, contractors, and management.
• Coordinates with other City departments and outside agencies to achieve departmental goals and improve overall

equivalent combination of education, training and experience in public sector utility construction, installation and
maintenance providing the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to adequately perform t he essential duties may

WORKING CONDITIONS
• Work is generally performed in both inside and outside environmental conditions in which the employee is subject
to workplace hazards including exposure to operating mechanical equipment creating fumes, odors, and dusts and
atmospheric conditions with extreme cold and heat for extended periods of time. Employee is subject to a level of
noise requiring workers to shout in order to be heard above the ambient noise level. In addition, the employee is
subject to a chance of injury from walking or standing in a construction site. Work involves emergency call-back
service.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Must be able to perform the basic life operational skills of climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking,
fingering, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions.
• Must be able to perform medium work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of
force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
