Calculates and submits accurate flow velocities, valve areas, and pressure gradients, ensuring the quality of exams and preliminary reports for physician review. Communicates critical results to physicians urgently and maintains accurate records for ICAEL re-certification, including peer review and quality assurance. Ensures cleanliness and proper stocking of echo and Holter supplies, and accurately enters codes on Medent. Coordinates with office management and front desk to manage workload effectively, while observing universal precautions and adhering to OSHA regulations and infection control policies. Maintains patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines, responds to triages and emails promptly, and provides patient education. Participates in clinical educational programs to enhance professional competence and maintain certification. Required Skills and Experience: Education: High School Diploma or GED. Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography Program - New grads welcome Licensure - Certification from ARDMS or CCI is required within six months of date of hire required.
