Position Summary The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading hourly associates and overseeing daily production schedule in a high-volume printed production line. Primary Roles and Responsibilities Organizing, assigning, instructing, and directing the daily tasks of production employees and ensuring those tasks are completed efficiently and with great attention to quality. Ensuring that production areas are properly staged, inventory is stocked, and notifies the proper department when stock reaches designated minimum levels. Maintaining and enforcing department standards including safety and regulations, supporting continuous improvement, teaching productivity techniques and monitoring progress. Assist with the performance management of line associates (performance appraisals and reviews, discipline, training, recommendations, etc.). Work closely with HR Department to interview, hire, and cross-train new reports. Responsible for the cleanliness and orderliness of work areas to a 5S standard. Responsible for the enforcement of company safety policies and compliance with OSHA standards and regulations. Other duties as assigned by Management. Requirements: Experience and Education BS/BA in a technical or manufacturing related field preferred. 5+ years of experience supervising 20+ direct reports in a high volume, labor intensive, packaging, or light assembly environment. Understanding of production planning and process flow in a manufacturing environment. High attention to detail, quality control, and continuous improvement. Prior leadership training, mentoring, or coaching training is a plus. Strong communications and leadership skills. Highly organized ISO 9001 experience or training and/or Continuous Improvement/ Six Sigma #INDCA
