    Job DescriptionDescription:Creative Director / Creative Agency - Scope of WorkRole Overview The Creative Director (or creative agency partner) will lead creative development for The Springs Resort and Murrieta Hot Springs Resort, ensuring all campaigns, brand materials, and guest-facing assets are cohesive, compelling, and performance-driven while building the resort brands. We anticipate approximately 12 campaign moments per year across two resorts. These are not intended to be 12 entirely new brand campaigns. Instead, we expect one to two overarching campaigns that build equity over time, with seasonal, offer-based, and performance-driven variations layered in by quarter or season. Creative support will include imagery, video, and copy that can be adapted across channels (paid media, website, email, paid social, and on-property touchpoints). Photography and video will be provided. We are actively exploring the best way to balance brand-building and performance needs, and we see this as an opportunity for strategic partnership. As part of the evaluation process, we are interested in understanding how potential partners would approach this challenge, including how they would structure campaigns, manage cadence, and design a creative system that scales efficiently without overproduction. The Creative Director/Agency will work closely with internal marketing team members to ensure creative aligns with channel strategy, audience segments, and business goals. WORK ENVIRONMENT & SCHEDULE Status: Contract Location: Remote Individuals must reside in California, Colorado, or Texas Compensation: $160,000-$175,000 annual Campaign Creative Lead creative strategy, concepting, and storytelling for seasonal, promotional, and performance-driven campaign moments Develop campaign angles, messaging frameworks, and creative direction that reflect each resort's positioning and target audiences. Translate campaign ideas into channel-ready assets across paid, owned, and earned media. Refine existing brand identity elements to be used consistently in creative work and all touchpoints. Participate in media analysis to understand performance and insights; translate those insights into creative work and a/b testing. Partner with the marketing team on creative brief development and creative process and approvals. Asset Development (Photography and Video Provided) Using provided photography and available footage to deliver: Video: Edited and optimized cuts (6s, 15s, 30s; vertical and horizontal) for paid social, programmatic video, CTV, and website use. Design: Static and animated assets for paid social, programmatic display, Performance Max, print, and on-property use as needed. Copy: Campaign headlines, body copy, CTAs, and variations tailored by channel and audience. Photo utilization: Select, crop, lightly retouch, and format provided photography for ads, website, email, and collateral. Brand, Website & Collateral Support Support ongoing creative needs for website updates, landing pages, and promotions. Design and refresh branded materials such as spa guides, menus, sales collateral, signage, and guest-facing assets. Approx 12 pieces, per resort. Ensure creative consistency across both properties while preserving each brand's distinct identity. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work Social Media (Marketing Specialist) Partner with the Marketing Specialist to develop social media calendars, campaign moments, and creative angles. Provide creative direction, visual assets, and messaging guidance for organic social content. Ensure alignment between organic social, paid campaigns, and brand storytelling. Email & CRM (Customer Marketing Manager) Work closely with the Customer Marketing Manager on newsletter themes, email creative, and campaign alignment. Approx 2-4 emails per month, per resort. Provide visual assets, layout guidance, and copy direction for newsletters and automated email flows. Support segment-specific messaging and creative testing. Creative Leadership & Optimization Maintain high creative standards across all channels and touchpoints. Adapt creative based on performance insights, guest feedback, and evolving business priorities. Refresh assets regularly to avoid creative fatigue and support ongoing testing. Deliverables at a Glance Creative development for approximately 12 campaign moments annually across both resorts Paid media, paid social, website, email, and on-property creative assets per campaign moment.
