As an Art Director you will collaborate with a copywriter to come up with creative concepts and apply them to our client's needs. In this amazing team, ideas and creativity are always encouraged.
Who we're looking for:
Success in this position requires the skills to produce world-class concepts and execution of one's craft; the willingness to take direction from the creative lead responsible for providing direction; the character to remain enthusiastic about all opportunities given; and the proactive pursuit of new challenges, including; composition of original, persuasive art and copy ideas for any of multiple media types and disciplines, including: marketing communications, advertising, presentations, communications and other applications - for print, broadcast and web. Must demonstrate an ability to quickly develop a collaborative partnership to execute solutions within a prescribed strategic creative framework -- effectively fulfilling Client expectations and objectives.
You have at least 2 years of relevant (preferably agency or design firm) experience.
You have outstanding conceptual and problem-solving skills.
Tenacious self-starter with a passion for effective communications
You have experience in advertising, marketing, corporate identity, brand management, sales promotion, and new media communication.
You have a strong grasp of the creative development process, have excellent art direction skills, and consistently deliver excellent design.
You have excellent written and oral communication and the ability to succinctly and effectively present creative to clients at all levels.
You demonstrate solid expertise in developing creative solutions in a variety of campaigns across a broad range of problems and media, including advertising, print, video and broadcast, interactive, web, DM, and social networking, retail communications and channel POS.
You have in-depth knowledge of all steps required in the creative process, providing communication and creative direction, and giving timely and helpful feedback to improve creative solutions.
You can produce all work efficiently and on schedule.
Your design skills are outstanding, and you have the ability to guide, evaluate, and if necessary, redirect creative development.
You can successfully art direct photo shoots.
You have proven experience working with copywriters to concept campaigns.
You can communicate effectively with creative and project management staff, engendering trust and respect.
You are proficient in design software used in the design process, including but limited to InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

RingCentral is looking for an Art Director/Brand Design Manager for RingCentral's Belmont headquarters, who will be responsible for leading the development of visual design systems for both print and screen-based projects as well as potentially managing individual contributing designers. Design work will be considered end-to-end and consist of conceptualization, wire-framing and graphic design and may contain some user interface design and some end-user acceptance testing. The candidate will have exceptional design skills, the ability to lead design projects, manage design professionals and be able to present and support their design decisions to both the Creative Director and executive staff.
The role will report to the Creative Director and will support several teams within the company who will be looking to develop and improve their existing design projects. The role may be required to provide some after-hours design support on occasion in support of deadlines.
