The world's first Social Darts experience, Flight Club was founded in London in 2015 to usher this once pub-like pastime into the 21st century. Flight Club fuses craft cocktails and upscale cuisine with its signature tech-enabled Social Darts experience to create a truly unique entertainment destination. Operated in the U.S. by State of Play Hospitality, Flight Club currently has 10 locations open nationwide, with an additional four locations set to open over the next year. Position Purpose:
The Creative Director will play a critical role in defining and leading the creative vision across all Flight Club and AceBounce locations. This role is responsible for shaping how each brand comes to life across all guest-facing touchpoints-from marketing campaigns and content to in-venue experiences, food and beverage, and programming.
The Creative Director partners closely with Marketing, Event Sales, Operations, and external creative agencies to translate business objectives into compelling, on-brand creative strategies that drive awareness, reservations, and event revenue. This role oversees the development and execution of creative assets, brand storytelling, and experiential concepts at both the national and local levels, ensuring consistency, quality, and innovation across markets while strengthening community connection and brand differentiation.
Position Responsibilities:.
Lead the creative vision for State of Play Hospitality, Flight Club and AceBounce across all guest-facing touchpoints, ensuring brand consistency, differentiation, and emotional impact.
Define, lead, and evolve the creative direction for all guest-facing brand expressions, including campaigns, content, programming, partnerships, and in-venue experiences.
Act as brand guardian, ensuring creative consistency, quality, and differentiation across all markets, channels, and touchpoints.
Provide creative leadership across integrated marketing initiatives, aligning creative output with revenue goals, event sales priorities, and guest experience KPIs established by the leadership.
Direct and mentor internal creative resources and external agencies, setting clear briefs, providing strategic feedback, and ensuring excellence from concept through execution.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Operations, Event Sales, Culinary, and venue leadership to ensure creative ideas are operationally viable, scalable, and impactful at the venue level.
Lead creative development for major brand moments, including seasonal campaigns, high-profile events, partnerships, and experiential activations.
Partner with the CMO on new venue openings and brand expansions, shaping the creative framework for pre-launch, opening, and post-launch phases.
Oversee creative workflows, timelines, and budgets in alignment with priorities and approvals set in collaboration with leadership.
Review and approve all significant creative deliverables, maintaining brand standards while enabling speed and efficiency.
Identify emerging trends and innovation opportunities across hospitality, entertainment, design, and technology.
Support executive storytelling and brand leadership, contributing to board materials, investor presentations, and external-facing brand narratives as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of progressive creative leadership experience, ideally within hospitality, entertainment, lifestyle, or experiential brands; “eatertainment” experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success leading creative strategy and execution for integrated campaigns, brand experiences, and multi-channel initiatives tied to measurable business outcomes.
Proven ability to partner with senior leadership, translating business objectives and brand strategy into compelling creative direction.
Strong portfolio of work showcasing brand storytelling across digital, physical, and experiential environments.
Experience leading and mentoring multidisciplinary creative teams, including designers, writers, and external agencies.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-market environment, balancing big-picture vision with hands-on execution when needed.
Exceptional storytelling skills, with a deep understanding of how narrative drives guest engagement and brand differentiation.
Excellent problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions

POSITION SUMMARY
This is an opportunity to own the creative process while staying close to the craft. You'll be hands-on with design, while also guiding the creative direction (and a small team) that brings our marketing to life. What you will be doing:
Define and codify creative platforms, territories, and toolkits able to stretch across hero launches, always-on content, retail PDPs, and social commerce
Own retail and PDP excellence: design look, language, and motion systems for A+ pages, retail media, and video demos rooted in consumer needs
Drive organic and paid social creative across major platforms (Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest), building hook libraries and creator/UGC systems that deliver high ROI
Champion use of AI across workflows to lift efficiency and creativity
Build reusable component systems-typography, iconography, motion, retailer adaptations-for speed and consistency
Collaborate with Strategy and Analytics to close the creative-data feedback loop
Partner tightly with Production Lead: ensure vision is realized, empower junior creatives in production
Set strategic creative vision and evangelize best-in-class standards
Lead cross-functional teams (design, copy, motion), drive craft quality
Work with Program Director on team resourcing and sequencing
Lead client-facing reviews, creative proposals, and post-launch learnings-connect creative and AI innovation to business KPIs
Coach and grow junior creatives-cultivate curiosity, craft and accountability
What you need to be great in this role:
10+ years in agency/in-house creative leadership, with CPG/consumer durables experience (floorcare/home care a plus)
Strong portfolio showing creative platform and system development, retail/PDP innovation, social commerce, and AI-enhanced creative
Track record of delivering strong impact on business metrics (conversion, engagement, creative adoption, test velocity)
Fluency and curiosity with generative AI tools (LLMs, Firefly, AE scripting), prompt engineering, and responsible governance
Executive presence, decisive and collaborative leadership, strong communication skills with clients and teams
Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and driving best practices across design, copy, and motion
Comfort with 3D/CG or the ability to direct it effectively is a plus
Experience running content at busy retail peaks/seasonal cycles also a plus
At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $175,000.00 to $185,000.00. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. The range listed is just one component of OLIVER's total compensation package.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
12+ years of digital, print, traditional and trade marketing experience
Two+ years' experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with drug launch know-how highly valued
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical marketing and all that it entails: disease state and product science, therapeutic industry standards, legal restrictions and competitive markets
Knowledge and background in working with therapeutic clients
Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent in education + experience)

POSITION SUMMARY
This is an opportunity to own the creative process while staying close to the craft. You'll be hands-on with design, while also guiding the creative direction (and a small team) that brings our marketing to life. RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the creative development of omni-channel marketing tactics across digital, print, photography/CGI, video, packaging, instore, and more, both as a hands-on designer and as a team leader.
Provide direction, feedback, and mentorship to creative contributors in both North America and Taiwan, ensuring creative excellence and professional development.
Lead the concepting phase from insight to execution, fostering collaboration to deliver strategic and creative solutions.

Ensure all creative deliverables meet business objectives and are consistent with established brand guidelines and visual standards.
Partner closely with the Creative Project Manager to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring quality, timeliness, and effective prioritization.
Source and partner with external agencies, freelancers, or vendors when necessary to scale creative capacity.

REQUIREMENTS:
10+ years experience as a multidisciplinary designer taking projects from concept through completion
3-5 years experience managing a creative team
Strong portfolio showcasing hands-on creative work across diverse mediums (print, digital, instore, POP, packaging, video, photo)
Retail brand experience preferred, agency experience a plus
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts or equivalent experience preferred
