Sets washer valves, switches and levers to start and stop the machine and to control the amount and temperature of water for the washing and rinsing of each batch. Removes washed laundry from machine and places in dryers by hand. Folds and/or directs associates to fold linen and place on shelves or in bags. Stages clean bed and bath linen for housekeepers. May make minor repairs to washing machine/dryers. Cleans encasements of all washers and dryers on a daily basis. Cleans and maintains working areas and washrooms in an orderly condition. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. (Preferred) Laundry service experience in a large, motel, hotel, lodging facility. (Preferred) Three (3) years general work experience. (Preferred) Experience working the disabled adults. (Preferred) Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Preferred.
