* Manages the strategy, design, development, delivery and communication of employee engagement/experience programs, talent development resources and tools
* Partners with all departments at Arthrex to implement learning and organizational development solutions based on business needs, which include leadership development, skill development, 360 assessments, competency development, and additional initiatives
* Develop and implement Talent Development strategies and programs aligned with the enterprise goals and objectives

Education and Experience:

Main Objective:
Provide technical and clinical support for the training curriculum that addresses the changing needs of Arthrex employees, Arthrex business partner representatives, and healthcare professional customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of current and classic concepts in spine surgery, the Arthrex product line, and clinical procedures supported by Arthrex products; be able to articulate and demonstrate these concepts and procedures to Arthrex employees, business partner representatives and healthcare professional customers.
Create and develop online educational content for healthcare professionals and students as well as educational content for a learning management system for Arthrex representative training. Participate in Arthrex business partner representative medical education programs.
Carry out the objectives created for Arthrex agency representative product and procedure training programs.
Provide input for Arthrex business partner representative medical education courses and surgical skills lab agendas.

Main Objective:
To develop, manage, and facilitate activities related to the conduct of Arthrex-sponsored clinical research studies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
* Initiate clinical research for Arthrex-sponsored studies
* Planning, executing, managing, and oversight of clinical studies
* Leads the implementation of clinical protocols, informed consent forms, and study-related materials for clinical studies
* Manages site initiation activities (e.g., study start-up documentation preparation)
* Responsible for IRB communication, including document preparation and submission of Arthrex study initiatives.
* Implementing modifications to optimize protocol results or edit/amend study documentation if necessary
* Assists with ensuring the electronic data capture system (EDC) is designed to collect all required data per the protocol
* Responsible for training internal staff assigned to studies
* Maintain appropriate monitoring and maintenance of clinical sites to ensure the overall successful conduct of assigned clinical studies
* Oversee all aspects of the assigned clinical projects, including essential documents, electronic data collection, change management, risk management, and monitoring activities
* Set-up and maintain accurate progress and Site study status tracking logs to provide reports and updates of assigned clinical research projects
* Oversee follow-up and lead query resolution with sites via ongoing interactions
* Participation in investigator meetings, Site initiation, monitoring, and close-out visits when applicable
* Complete central, remote, and on-site monitoring reports and follow-up letters
* Complete monitoring report reviews of other staff
* Oversee monitoring activities for the assigned projects and is responsible for ensuring actions are taken when applicable
* Identify and mitigate quality risk and/or issues associated with assigned studies/activities
* Facilitate appropriate documentation to maintain compliance with the Finance and Compliance departments
* Prepare and track clinical study budgets
* Responsible for the timely completion of deliverables, inclusive of analysis of large data sets/spreadsheets using Excel or other applications for interim study status reporting to meet Arthrex and research goals
* Facilitate efficient utilization of available clinical data, addressing the needs of internal and external stakeholders (e.g., publications)
* Works closely with leadership, product management, medical writing, project manager, and other research staff to manage assigned studies
* Execute clinical studies according to ICH/GCP guidelines, ISO guidelines, and internal SOPs
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred.
* 6 plus years of related clinical research experience required.
* Minimum three-year Sponsor/CRO required. Preferably, in a medical device industry environment
* One year of clinical research monitoring or study manager experience required
* Familiarity with orthopedics and medical terminology is preferred
* Strong research and technical writing skills and ability to review protocols and agreements for accuracy
* Ability to organize and manipulate large data sets
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
* Clinical Research Certification required, or must be willing to obtain within 1 year of employment

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Develop U.S., EU and Canada regulatory strategy and implementation plans for the preparation and submission of new products and review any proposed changes for impact on regulatory strategy and status.
* Evaluate the risk of proposed regulatory strategies and offer solutions, as applicable.
* Advise and provide regulatory direction to assigned Product Development Team(s) on the regulatory requirements, documentation and testing needed for FDA, EU MDR & Health Canada regulatory submissions and registrations during the development of new devices, device modifications, and changes to existing products.
* Prepare, write, and submit FDA, Notified Body and Health Canada submissions for new products and product changes as required in accordance with established time-lines and submission dates to ensure timely approvals while in compliance with regulations.
* Partner with International Regulatory Affairs to provide regulatory support for new products and changes to existing products.
* Provide business and product information to International Regulatory Affairs to enable development of strategies and communicate that information to assigned Product Development Team(s).
* Review and approve design control documentation, engineering change requests for design, manufacturing and labeling changes, and customs requests to ensure compliance with global regulations.
* Provide feedback and on-going support to Product Development Team(s) to resolve (potential) regulatory issues and questions from regulatory agencies.
* Rigorously review regulatory documentation to ensure completeness, clarity, consistency, and conformance to regulations and guidelines.
* Coordinate and consult with manager and/or other departments on the content and review of regulatory documentation.
* Provide support to currently-marketed products as necessary. This includes: reviewing labeling; reviewing promotional material; reviewing product changes; preparing documentation for changes requiring government approval; and preparing submissions and reports for regulatory agencies as required by product status.
* Interact with FDA, Notified Bodies and/or Health Canada on products at reviewer level.
* Establish, develop and maintain positive relationships with regulatory agency personnel.
* Maintain proficiency in applicable regulatory requirements.
Education/Experience
* 10+ years relevant experience required preferably in a regulatory affairs role in the life science industry.
* Bachelor's degree required, engineering or science discipline preferred. Advanced degree preferred.
* Orthopedic medical device experience preferred.
* Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) preferred.
* Experience authoring and submitting medical device registrations/licenses/submissions applicable to regional area.
* Experience reviewing product labeling and advertising/promotional material for medical devices.
