J. Patrick Gallagher Jr is President, Chief Executive and Chairman of the Board of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., the US-based global insurance brokerage and risk management services firm headquartered in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, Chicago, Illinois. The company was founded by his grandfather, Arthur James Gallagher, in 1927, who later brought his three sons, Robert, John and James, into the business at the end of World War II. The Gallagher family owns approximately 1% of the company, but continues to hold numerous leadership positions.

Susan E. Pietrucha joined Gallagher in 2007. She is responsible for developing a comprehensive human resources and organizational strategy to address key margin improvement initiatives and drive the development of a robust, performance-based culture. Ms. Pietrucha came to Gallagher with 16 years of human resources experience, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources for General Electric's Commercial Distribution Finance business. Prior to that, she was Vice President of Human Resources for Financial Guaranty Insurance Company, Vice President of Human Resources for GE Capital Auto Financial Services, and Director of Human Resources at Ernst & Young.
