WHAT WE DO
Our corporate teams support our family of brands through managing the “back office” work so the team members who support in the production of our products can focus on making great tasting, innovative quality craft beverages. Our shared services team is made up by accounting/finance, human resources, marketing, and sales, who are all skilled in their space and share a love of craft beverages.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
The candidate's mission will be to support the sales efforts for Artisanal Brewing Ventures' brands. The Brand Ambassador - Sampling Representative will be a part-time ambassador for our beer and our brand at a variety of events, festivals and tastings. The primary duty is to represent our company in a professional, positive, enthusiastic and knowledgeable way.
Engage with customers at events to educate them on our beers and our Company.
Set-up, break down and clean pouring stations at event site.
Transport and maintain table display, equipment and materials.
Pour beers, hand out promotional materials, be able to discuss the beer characteristics.
Maintain a professional image and demeanor at all times.
Support Sales staff, as needed.
Attend brewery training events to stay current with offerings.
Perform other business related duties as assigned.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Must be 21 years of age, or older.
High School graduate - college degree is preferred.
Craft beer industry passion and the appreciation of the culture that goes with it.
Excellent communication skills, particularly public speaking.
Have an outgoing, energetic, confident personality.
Ability to work nights and weekends, along with a flexible work schedule with notice.
Certified Cicerone or Certified Beer Server is considered a plus.
Regular visits to bars, restaurants, stores and festivals, some of which may be outdoors.
A valid state driver's license is required and must be maintained throughout employment period with Artisanal Brewing Ventures.
The candidate must fully understand that they are a representative not only of the company, but of the alcohol beverage industry. Associates are to conduct themselves within the limits of the law and with concern to the education of responsible consumption at all times. Other Requirements
Candidate should be able and willing to lift at least 31.5 lbs. from ground level to a shelf 50 inches from the floor. The candidate should also be able to move 165 lbs. of kegged beer from one location to another by sliding it on the floor.
Selected candidate will be required to pass a post-offer, pre-employment background and driver's license check.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
The Quality Technician executes all daily quality duties in the areas of packaging, cellar, laboratory, and sensory, ensuring the day-to-day operations of the lab are run according to the Quality SOPs. They ensure quality is a priority across the brewery by focusing on quality control testing, analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting in all areas of production. This includes sterile work for microbiological stability screening, fermentation tracking, chemistry, statistics, sensory, and package testing. They will be trained to be cross-functional in analytical, microbiological, and organoleptic testing.
This position will work late night shift hours; 3p-1:30a EST, Monday - Thursday
Reports to:
Quality Manager
Understands and follows all safety procedures and wears appropriate PPE.
Executes daily quality duties across the brewery. Able to work with lab team to provide weekend and holiday coverage.
Ensures that the daily operations of the lab are run according to the Quality SOPs.
Works with the Quality Manager to continuously improve Quality SOPs, sample workflow, and record keeping.
Collects, organizes, and reports QA/QC data from raw materials through packaging. Reviews Quality Records for completeness and accuracy.
Works independently and closely with laboratory team to complete daily task and longer-term projects. Communicates clearly when handing off a task to another person.
Escalates issues and out-of-specification results quickly and appropriately to laboratory and brewing leadership.
Analyzes data and presents findings to brewery leadership.
Collaborates with other departments and team members to tackle issues as they arise.
Assists with maintaining consumables and equipment inventory ordering, and recordkeeping in the laboratory area and other Quality workspaces throughout facilities.
Helps coordinate proper disposal of all laboratory products, including disposables and waste.
Maintains, calibrates, and verifies accuracy of equipment and instrumentation.
Maintains clean workspaces including laboratories and all other Quality workspaces.
Performs chemical and analytical testing on product samples including:
IBU, color, and acetaldehyde testing on a UV/Vis spectrophotometer.
Alcohol testing on an Anton Paar Alcolyzer.
Prepares analytical standards.
Execute package quality testing including:
O2 and CO2 testing on brite and packaged beer using a Haffman's c-DGM and Anton Paar CBoxQC.
Package integrity testing.
Package line hygiene audits.
Collection of can, bottle, and keg samples for analytical and microbiological testing.
Inspects equipment for adherences to GMP.
Performs microbiological testing on product samples including:
Using aseptic technique to take sterile microbiological samples from a variety of places.
Preparing microbiological media.
Sterile plating of microbiological samples.
PCR testing.
Monitors fermentations including performing cell counts, viability and vitality testing, and pH measurements.
Leads sensory panel for true-to-brand and other sensory tests at the direction of brewery leadership.
Performs other duties as necessary.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, or other related science field preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience working in a laboratory strongly preferred.
Minimum 1 year of QA/QC experience preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within the lab and across multiple departments.
Prior experience with GMP/GLP, HACCP, ISO 9001, Safe Laboratory Operations, and/or a Brewing education is preferred.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of recipes, processes, procedures, and other proprietary information.
Ability to safely handle and work with potentially hazardous chemicals.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications specifically Excel

Work Environment
The Quality Technician will primarily perform work duties in a laboratory, with frequent trips to the production and warehouse areas. While performing the duties of the job, the Quality Technician is regularly exposed to a damp, wet environment with hot liquids, airborne particles, chemicals and moving machinery. There can be loud noise levels, and protective eyewear is required on the production floor at all times.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time, hourly position. Days of work are typically Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Production Operations Manager - Williamson, NY
The Operations Manager will be responsible for all manufacturing personnel, process, materials and equipment from start to end. This individual is accountable for delivering the established site goals, as well as collaborating with site leadership to establish and lead processes that achieve high standards of safety, quality, productivity, cost control, and high employee engagement. Role Overview
Frida is looking for a Director of Quality Assurance to join our Operations team and take the lead in ensuring that Frida's current and new products meet and exceed quality standards. The Manager of Quality Assurance will focus on establishing quality standards and metrics in support of the new product development pipeline, as well as legacy products.
Core Responsibilities
QMS: Develop, Implement and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 13485, FDA regulations (21 CFR Part 820), and other applicable standards and regulations. Ensures process improvement activities remain in compliance.
QC plans: Assist in developing sustainable quality control plans with detailed testing standards that can be implemented across all new product development projects, on ongoing productions and enforced by suppliers. Incorporate quality plans + inputs into design stage gates and facilitate understanding of testing and quality variables among designers, engineers, 3rd party inspectors, and suppliers.
QC Checklists: Create, implement, and continuously improve quality control checklists tailored to specific products, processes, and regulatory requirements.
Collaborates with warehouse, including 3PLs, to establish quality procedures for incoming inspection, nonconforming material, preservation of product, material and storage handling, and production/process controls.
CS: Interface with Customer Service to rectify quality complaints & facilitate CAPA processes. Communicate quality issues, progress on CAPA actions, and quality improvements to all relevant stakeholders within the company.
User needs: Work closely with the cross-functional teams to understand user needs rooted in consumer insights and internal design standards so they are reflected in quality control standards.
Testing: Coordinate testing with suppliers and 3rd party labs to ensure product performance meets consumer expectations and internal quality standards.
Equipment: Maintain in-house calibration log up to date with equipment used for in-house design verification activities.
Revising specs: Devise and review specifications for new and legacy products as they relate to quality testing standards, integrate with compliance to ensure testing is performed.
Audits: Prepare for and manage external audits and inspections from regulatory bodies and customers. Responsible for the internal quality audits program. Address findings and implement corrective actions.
CAPA Management: Oversee the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) process to identify root causes of non-conformances and ensure timely and effective resolution.
Process: Drive quality improvement processes to identify and address high return rates on products and/or underperformance (for example, low star ratings)
Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor suppliers to ensure they meet the company's quality standards. This includes conducting supplier audits and managing supplier non-conformances.
Team Management: Lead, mentor, and develop the quality team to ensure alignment with company goals, regulatory requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives. Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and proactive problem-solving within the team.
Provides subject matter expertise in quality engineering such as: risk management and risk assessments, design verification, equipment qualification, process validation, design transfer, configuration management, and change control.
Training: Develop and implement training programs and ensure employees are kept up to date with current standard operating procedures (SOPs), regulatory requirements, and company policies

What You Will Need
8-10+ years' experience in consumer products (preferred), Quality, Compliance, or related fields.
Has hands‑on experience developing, implementing and upgrading a quality management system tailored to the company's business model Must have a full understanding of the relevant regulations and requirements and how best to infuse the company culture of the criticality of implementing policies competently and consistently
Understanding of testing methods and some regulatory compliance (UL/ETL , FDA, ROHS, Prop65, etc.)
Experience crafting quality plans that Include: DFMEA's, Control Plans, Testing procedures, and AQL's
A keen eye for detail and a results‑driven approach
Six Sigma Green Belt preferred
Experience working directly with material and component vendors/suppliers and commodities (PCBAs, metals, plastics, cables) is preferred.
Can navigate fluidly from strategic to tactical work, has highly developed multi‑tasking and prioritization skills, is results‑oriented with a strong self‑motivation to move quickly to address opportunities thoroughly, while meeting tight deadlines
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Visio, and documentation control software (preferably Aras PLM), material management software, and statistical application software
Excellent verbal communication skills with ability to speak effectively with clients, vendors, management staff and employees of organization
Excellent project management skills to develop quality objectives, manage overall quality plans, corrective and preventative actions, process improvement, and auditing timelines.

POSITION PURPOSE:
The Football Communications Associate will assist in executing the department's football communications and media operations strategies. SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
+2 years of professional experience in communications or a related field.

Proven experience working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Knowledge of and passion for football (soccer) will be considered a strong plus.

About the facility: The Williamson, NY operation is a roughly 1 million sq ft production facility with 217 acres of land. Production Technician II - Williamson, NY
The Production Technician is responsible for the complete operation and changeover of assigned machines within PhD and all other associated work. This includes safely maintaining, repairing, replacing and assisting in modifying all processing, packaging, and facility equipment in accordance with on-line quality and Best Practice procedures.
