Use Unreal Engine and 3D software to create accurate, high-quality custom collisions. Ensure player movement, traversal routes, sound tagging, and navigation flags feel smooth, grounded, and intentional. Collaborate with multiple disciplines to ensure collision enhances both gameplay clarity and cinematic feel. Maintain a strong understanding of overall level and gameplay design to inform collision decisions. Own collision across multiple maps or areas, working efficiently to meet milestones while preserving quality and polish. Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience as a game artist, designer, or technical designer. Hands-on experience implementing collision in a game engine. Working knowledge of Maya or 3ds Max in a production environment. Strong technical problem-solving skills paired with an artistic eye. About the Position: AGBO is seeking a skilled Previz Artist (all levels) to join our VFX/Animation team on a temporary basis. This artist will play a key role in the early visualization of cinematic moments, sequences, and action-working closely with directors, producers, and department leads to bring ambitious concepts to life in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong sense of cinematic language, storytelling, and technical proficiency in previz tools and workflows. This is a preferred hybrid position in Los Angeles, CA. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with directors, storyboard artists, and department heads to visualize sequences and scenes through 3D previz. Translate scripts, storyboards, and rough concepts into dynamic and cinematic previz shots that define composition, pacing, and action. Build previz assets including environments, props, and character rigs when needed. Animate characters and cameras to establish tone, staging, and visual continuity across sequences. Ensure previz supports technical planning, including VFX, stunt coordination, virtual production, and live-action integration. Work efficiently within project timelines and adapt to evolving creative direction. Collaborate across departments to ensure previz aligns with downstream production requirements. Qualifications & Skills: 3+ years of experience in previz, cinematic layout, or related roles in film, television, games, or high-end commercials. Strong proficiency in Maya and some experience with Unreal Engine. Solid understanding of cinematic language-framing, lens choices, pacing, blocking, and editing. Experience with stitching mocap clips into master scenes as well as taking a shot from start to finish in terms of camera, layout and animation. Ability to create previz assets or modify existing assets as needed. Familiarity with real-time workflows and virtual production is a plus. Ability to take direction and iterate quickly while maintaining quality and clarity. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Working knowledge of Nuke and After Effects is a plus. Working knowledge of software and hardware including Photoshop and Cintiq. The anticipated base salary for this position is $51.61/hour to $81.75/hour.
