Charge Artist should recommend best techniques for timely finishing of scenery and execute such. All Scenic staff will assist as needed with load-in and completion of scenery and with strike and restore of the venue and will help to maintain a clean and safe workshop. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for advising the TD on scenic treatments for two (2) opera productions at The Barns. Lead the paint crew and mentor the scene painting apprentice. Supervise the safe and clean management of the paint shop and stage. Finish scenery during load-in and assist with strike. Help to restore the Barns at the end of the season. Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: Prior scene shop experience. Strong knowledge of scenic paint and finishing techniques. Demonstrated leadership abilities.
