Each class is 3 hours long -- where you are expected to hold poses from anywhere between 20 minutes to an hour. At present, all models are hired as nude models, which means that you should expect to be nude during the duration of the class, but this may not always be the case. We do not presently hire models for clothed sessions. There is always a 10-15-minute break partway through the course for you to rest, eat/drink, and to utilize the restroom. The department of art is seeking figure drawing models. This position entails holding poses for predetermined periods (1-20min.) as part of drawing/painting courses. Responsibilities The incumbent should be comfortable holding poses for an extended period of time. Models work with specific studio art classes, posing as a subject for drawings/paintings. The Department of Arts & Humanities at Lorain County Community College is seeking applicants to be art models to model for a Life Drawing class as well other studio courses such as Watercolor, Drawing and Painting. Models need to be comfortable with modeling both clothed and nude and to be available for portraiture work. Art models will be able to work appropriately and sensitively with faculty, staff and students, be available for a flexible schedule, and be able to keep their time card up-to-date.
