Position Overview Just Futures Law seeks a seasoned and committed litigator to lead and support strategic legal challenges against repressive immigration policies, surveillance practices, and the erosion of First Amendment rights. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled civil rights litigator who is passionate about supporting grassroots movements and directly impacted communities. The Co-Director, Litigation, is a new, senior leadership position (10+ years of litigation experience) who will work in close partnership with the current Legal Director to expand and co-manage the litigation program, supervise a growing team of attorneys, and shape strategic direction. This is a full-time, remote, exempt position. Key Responsibilities Co-manage the litigation department, including strategic planning, budgeting, and cross-program coordination. Share responsibility with the Co-Director, Litigation, for overall litigation vision and leadership of the team. Lead and support all phases of impact litigation in federal and state courts related to immigrant rights, civil liberties, First Amendment protections, and privacy rights. Conduct legal research and analysis; draft pleadings, briefs, and motions; handle discovery, hearings, trials, and appeals.
