Principal Duties/Responsibilities:

· Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages; examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
· Gathers and delivers mail; routes items to departments.
· Receives and logs items into computer system.
· Maintains a clean working area.
· Tracks inventory and maintains an accurate physical inventory by logging all transactions into the software system; tracks all packages not received or not logged into the system daily; tracks all packing slips and files daily.
· Controls costs through recycling and other activities.
· Tracks and locates package for customer.
· May deliver packages on emergency basis; scan parts and prepares for the cleaning room; place parts in bins and pulls when ready for repair as needed; operate tier-lift truck or use handtruck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area; direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.
· May be required to train entry level employees.

Essential KSAs:
· High School diploma or equivalent (GED) and three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Intermediate level of data entry skills; strong understanding of customer relations; and know how to lift properly.
· Must be able to obtain Powered Industrial Vehicle Certification.
· Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
· Ability to: read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization; add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals; apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions; deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Desirable KSAs:
· Must be a team player, organized, self-motivated and able to prioritize.

We are looking for a Warehouse Team Member to join our team of employee-owners at our McHenry location!
This is a full-time position, with $18.91/hour starting pay, a 40-hour workweek Monday-Friday, first-shift only. There are no night or weekend shifts and employees get major national holidays off and paid.
Responsibilities include
Preparing orders by processing requests, pulling materials, packing boxes, and staging orders

Position Summary:
The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for daily shipping & receiving operations at the Geneva warehouse, including unloading/loading, inspection, put-away, picking, packing, and inventory transactions. This role must operate a high-reach forklift (Versalift) to handle spare parts and equipment safely and efficiently.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Execute inbound receiving and outbound shipping processes: unload/load trucks, verify quantities and conditions, and complete required documentation
- Perform incoming inspection, label items, and place them into assigned bin locations
- Pick, pack, stage, and ship orders accurately and on time, ensuring correct parts/equipment match the order
- Operate high-reach forklift (Versalift) safely for put-away, picking, and heavy item handling
- Conduct daily equipment pre-check and report any safety or maintenance issues immediately
- Working knowledge of OSHA HazCom regulations-handling SDS and proper chemical labeling
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Experience with machine guarding, PPE requirements, and lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to maintain safe work areas - preventing slips, trips, falls, and safely stacking materials
- Basic knowledge of emergency procedures (fire, spill, evacuation) in compliance with OSHA guidelines
- Record inventory movements in MS Dynamics (or assigned system) in real time (receipts, transfers, issues, cycle counts)
- Support monthly cycle counts and annual physical inventory; investigate discrepancies and help resolve root issues
- Follow warehouse SOPs, safety rules, and 5S standards; maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free work area
- Participate in safety training and support “zero safety incident” objectives
Position Requirements:
- 2+ Years warehouse/shipping & receiving experience preferred

What is this role?

• A least 1 year in a similar position within a manufacturing or distribution center

• Minimum six months' experience utilizing Fed-Ex, UPS, or other shipping software (REQUIRED)
• Prior experience in processing customer orders, inventory control, and/or production data entry
• Attention to Detail
• Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 75 pounds
• Know and understand common acronyms and packaging terminology
• Monitoring performance of self, others, or organization to make improvements or take corrective actions

As the Shipping / Receiving Coordinator this position will be responsible for administering incoming and outgoing shipments. Which includes coordinating and maintaining accurate records of all transactions from inbound and outbound traffic, while having effective communications throughout on all levels which include but not limited to carriers, suppliers and internal teams.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Support internal movement between warehouses
* Prepare outbound documents for carrier pickups
* Ability to work in dynamic and quickly changing environment
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to prepare import / export documents in accordance with established procedures
* Maintain high standards of customer service by resolving issues in a timely manner
* Ability to learn standard MHE (Material Handling Equipment)
