    The Tax Manager plays a key role in ensuring compliance, driving tax efficiency, and supporting complex business initiatives across a multi-state footprint. This position will collaborate closely with Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams and serve as the company's in-house subject matter expert on tax compliance and reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage the preparation and filing of all federal and state income tax returns, including related analysis, schedules, and documentation. Oversee sales, payroll, and real estate tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions. Coordinate with external tax advisors and auditors to ensure timely filings and adherence to all tax regulations. Maintain accurate tax records, ensuring proper documentation to support all tax positions and filings. Prepare and review tax provision disclosures in accordance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 740) for quarterly and annual reporting. Partner with Accounting and FP&A teams to ensure appropriate tax treatment of transactions and accurate financial statement presentation. Support the CFO and team on tax-related components of financial statements, forecasts, and budgeting. Conduct tax research and analysis on evolving legislation, identifying opportunities for savings and risk mitigation. Provide M&A and capital markets tax advisory support, including due diligence and transaction structuring. Develop and implement tax efficiency initiatives aligned with company goals and industry best practices. Partner cross-functionally with Legal and Finance to navigate complex multi-state cannabis tax regulations and compliance frameworks. Continuously evaluate and enhance internal processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance within the tax function. Serve as a key resource for internal stakeholders, translating complex tax concepts into actionable business guidance. Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and regulatory agencies. Manage third-party consultants as needed for audits, special projects, or temporary support. Perform other related duties and special projects assigned to support departmental and organizational objectives. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) required. 5+ years of progressive tax experience, ideally in a combination of corporate and public accounting environments. Prior experience in a multi-state or multi-entity organization a plus. Transactional M&A experience preferred, including tax due diligence and integration support. Strong technical expertise in U.S. GAAP, ASC 740, and federal/state tax compliance. Proven ability to independently manage complex tax filings and projects with minimal oversight. Excellent analytical, organizational, and time-management skills with high attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively partner across departments and present findings to executive leadership. Tri-state area (NY/NJ/CT) preferred for ease of onsite collaboration with the corporate team. Work Environment This position operates in a remote work environment.     The Regulatory Manager (RM) provides regulatory development advice and guidance for optimal conduct of clinical trials, ensuring timely preparation of well organized, quality regulatory submissions in compliance with applicable regulations. The RM coordinates and prepares regulatory documents for submission to Regulatory Authorities and/or Ethics Committees, as applicable. The RM maintains a current knowledge of regulations and guidance documents, providing analysis to project teams, as well as supporting and enhancing Precision for Medicines corporate Regulatory function. Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to: Provides regulatory guidance throughout the clinical development life cycle Compile, coordinate and review applications to Regulatory Authorities including, but not limited to, CTA/IND, annual reports, routine amendments, scientific advice/regulatory authority meetings, orphan designations, pediatric planning, and marketing applications. Also provides strategic regulatory input as required. Develops and/or reviews documents intended for submission to the Regulatory Authorities and/or Ethics Committees to assure compliance with regulatory standards Serve as representative of Global Regulatory Affairs at project team meetings with both external and internal customers Works within a project team, and where necessary, leads project for the region or globally Oversee and coordinate Regulatory Affairs Specialists to achieve submission targets for contracted programs Maintenance of project plans, project trackers and regulatory intelligence tools as it pertains to assigned responsibilities and to keep Regulatory Leadership updated.
